I think I ate too fast since my 2 year old bugging me and I think I rushed. I had a 3 oz of tilapia steamed and 1 tablespoon of sweet peas. I have pain in the middle where my new pouch is at it hurts when I breathe in then I feel like I need to burp but I can't. Now I have a runny nose and nausea should I induce vomiting? I feel aweful!! Ughhhh I hate this. sorry to whine Cira

Hey Cira it might be wise to make yourself vomit. It will make you feel better even though it isnt fun to do it but you will feel beter afterwards. It is hard to remember to slow down and of course with little Gino he is just adorable and keeps you on your feet. I hope you feel better

Hi kelly, I was miserable for an hour and a half! I kept pacing back and forth trying to help the food go down. Then I started getting really nauseous all the saliva coming up but no vomiting. I was afraid to make myself throw up because I didn't see a response. I called my daughter downstairs and asked her to make me a little chicken broth. I sipped it little by little and then I started feeling some relief. Kelly that was awful and I don't ever want to feel like that again. Do you think I ate too fast or it was the peas? Thanks for your help. hugs, Cira I am going to

It could of been from eating fast. That had happened to me in the beggining even now bu i make sure i take my time. 1 to many imes and you learn. next time you have peas mush them in your mouth then swallow them slowly and see what they do. I dont think it would be from that but just take your time. Have a good rest and talk to you later

Glad you are feeling better! My dietary paperwork said to avoid peas because the skin is a little hard to digest. I love peas but I think I will wait!

Sorry to hear of the bad experince, I ate too fast last Tues. and my "pouch" rejected everything, so I had to chill out for awhile and ate something later that day. What's upsetting is was it too fast? or the peas?? it's okay we just have to keep learning as we go through it?? One thing is for sure, when something is not right our new "pouch" stomach has the final say of what's right and what's wrong?? as we still try to guess what we did wrong?? I have to keep reminding myself to slow down, b 4 surgery I used to inhale all my food, but it is totally diffferent now!! Don't worry we will be okay it just takes, some time to get this "thing"right Take Care! Peace. jbug Don't worry, soon "we" will be pros, just like the others, Amen to that!!

Ah, the joys of dumping. It could be a combination of eating too fast and the peas. Glad you found a solution for feeling better. Aime
