WOW! Some things must be meant to be...!

I can't believe it -- I sent an email to Dr. Schweitzer over the weekend and he personally emailed me back AND told me his office would call me and get me in for a consult within a week!!! Something tells me my mind may be made up for me...I just can't believe the doc emailed me himself. Keep your fingers, toes, eyebrows crossed... :dance:

Oh great! I'm so glad it went well. Did you have RNY or LB? If you don't mind me asking, 1) how long did you have to wait to get a consult appt, and 2) how long after were you able to have the surgery? Thanks so much, all this information is so awesome, hugs, Nancy

Dr Schweitzer is really a good doc, I had my surgery 5 months ago by him and anytime I ask a question he and the staff are always there. I guess that's why they're super busy. I hope you have your surgery with Hopkins, it's worth the wait..

I'm sorry, I am so bad with dates! I got a consult not long after I called and once I got my insurance approval, my surgery was only like a matter of weeks later! My whole experience was just awesome really!! Lisa
