OT: SO EXCITED

Ok so most of you know about my home daycare and all the things I have been doing to go threw the process of being certified. Well everything seemed to be going fast so in the beggining of Febuary we decided that I would stop working as a nanny so that I would be availible to parents when I was open. So my last day watching the kids was Feb 28th. That same week my husbands prints came in and he was cleared. The week after my whole actual prints came back. They were smugged. So I had my Fire Marshall inspection passed and called my licensing agent to schedule my last inspection to be certified. She ten proceeded to tell me she couldnt do the inspection until she had one of my background checks back. I was so bummed. It took almost a month the first time. So we got them re-done and I have been waiting and waiting. It has been really difficult for me because I am used to working and running around all day that just doing nothing started to get to me. Then there was the finacial part of it. We were ready for some of it but not this long. I'm so used to being able to just up and go and do things but that hasnt been the case for a while. So this evening while I am cooking dinner, hubby went to the mail and there it was One of my background checks. The fog has cleared and I am on my way. First thing Monday morning I am calling my agent and getting her out here ASAP so I can open my doors and start doing what I think I was put on this earth to do, care for children. Thanks Mo This is the day I have been praying for and it is finally here. I'm just so drained from it all. This is a long process and glad I am doing it now and not later. How are you feeling this rainey sunday morning? Hope you are getting better kelly

Kelly, I am sure it has been a draining experience, but it will be so worth it in the long run! I've only been up about 15 minutes (this is sooo unlike me to lay in bed til 8 am) I was up about 11:30 til 1:30 after I went to bed at 9. I'm about ready to take a pill, just to chase away the nagging discomfort. I don't want to become dependent on the dang pills, but I might as well take them as be uncomfortable. Hugs, Mo

Hi Adrienne Thank you so much. No kids lined up yet. Alot of people have mentioned it but no definites. My husbands co-workers wife does it and keeps he names of people who call her so she will give them to me and if others call she will direct them to me. Her daycare is full but she keeps the names incase. Have you goten my emails? just wondering
