One month Post-op...(VERY Long)!

Way to go Dave!!! That is so awesome. Keep up the good work... you are and inspiration to those who are waiting to get the surgery, such as my self. Surgery date is 7/31/07, so please keep me posted. Kathy

Sounds like you are doing excellent!! Congrats!! Its funny how different surgeons do things differently! I had a two week post op visit, no blood work or anything, but was then told see ya in three months! Question for you? You mentioned the B12 being too high. Were you using sublingual B12 and if so, how much were you taking? Keep up the good work!!!

You are right about the Dr's. Lots o different tactics and suggestions. As for the B12...I had been doing the sublingual B12 from Bariatric Advantage every other day. I switched to Nascobal (the nasal form once a week). I came off the sublingual on a Thursday, did my first Nascobal on that Saturday and had my labs drawn on the next Monday. I explained all that and they still wanted me to stop the B12 for a month. Hope that helps. Dave
