has anyone had surgery by dr. moeinolmolki?

Dr. Mo is the partner of Dr. von Ruedin who was my surgeon. Dr. Mo also came is to check on me in the hospital after my surgery. What a sight for drug induced ( ) eyes! The Obesity Management Ceter at GBMC is fantastic. I am very impressed with everyone I have dealt with there. I had my 6 month follow up today. I have had no major complications. I have lost 51% of my excess weight and I am down to a 34.4 BMI. I think you will be pleased with the professionals at GBMC. Aime

Aime, How long did it take you to get a surgery date? I am so nervous.

It took about 6 months for everything once I got to work on preparing for the surgery. I saw DVR in March and had surgery in October. I haad to have many tests as everyone else does also. I think most people fret about a 6 month supervised diet, but getting allt he tests completed was the bummer for me. I just got so tired of being poked and prodded. When everything was done, I got a call with a surgery date in 2 weeks. It went fast. In fact, I had to ask for a different date, because they had given me my birthday as the date initially. I just coudn't do it on this one particular birthday. Any other would have been fine, but I turned 50. I only had to wait 2 more days. Keep coming to the forum. The people here are wonderful. That should help ease your fears some.

Hi Vanessa, His partner Dr. david Von Rueden did my surgery. I have heard only but great thinks about Dr. Moen. While I was in the hospital he came many times to check on me and he was very compassionate. It shocked me when he rubbed my head softly and promised me that he and Dr. Von Rueden were going to make me feel better very soon. He is a very nice doctor and I think you will be very pleased with him. Hugs, Cira
