Good Tuesday Morning!
Good Morning Everybody!
How is everyone on this great Tuesday Morning? I hope all is well with everyone. So how goes the eating, fluids, supplements, protein and exercise?
As usual, I'm doing great on everything but the organized exercise. I've got so much going on in my life right now. Last night I got word that my sister has an offer on her house, so that means I need to get my butt in gear to get my spare room cleaned out so that she and her dog can move in, while waiting for her new house to be done. I've been putting off going through stuff for a major spring cleaning anyway. I need to have all this done before surgery next month. Having my sister there for 4-5 months or so should be a "fun" experience. I know tempers will run short at times, but I love her to pieces, so it'll be great! Tonight I'm having Mark (AKA McSweetie) over for dinner and then we'll watch a movie. Things are going great between him and I. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to be sure this is for real!
So what's up in your world?
Have a Great Day!
Take Care,
Terry
Terry, sounds as if life is treating you well! Running your butt off, but treating you well. You're a whirlwind. I'm sure having your sis living with you will be quite the experience - mostly pros with a few cons added in. I think it will be fun. Fluids are always great for me, protein is acceptable, and exercise bites! I started walking the high school track the week before we went on Spring break. Haven't seen it or the pavement since we've been off. Running around, being busy, but not organized exercise. Kicking myself in gear today! I will WALK!!! I want to slowly work up the mileage, so I'm ready for the MD Hike. Have fun tonight with McSweetie. I'm so happy for you. Take care and have a great day.

Good Morning Terry
Everything is ok here. I wanted to go to the gym this morning but again didn't feel good when I got up. I notice when I eat breakfast right away I dont feel goo for a little bit and I did it again today. Tommorow I am going to drink carnation drink then see how I feel. Then go to the gym and then eat breakfast when i get home. Maybe that will help. I also think not working right now and the stress on waiting for my fingerprints to come back so my daycare licensing agent can come out is starting to get to me. I am so ready to open my home daycare it is starting to get unbearable. But I am not trying to let it interfere with my taking care of myself food wise. Making sure I stay on track. PS soon? how exciting. It will be nice for you to have your sister there for you during that time. Have fun with McSwetie. And have a great day

Hi Terry.
Well, yesterday was a super busy day. Today is my last day at wor****il next Monday so I have A LOT of stuff to get done. I didn't have time for anything on line yesterday. I was on the go all day. I did manage to get to the gym so that is good. I hope that my guys cooperate today so I can get all the information I need from them to get their travel folders completed and ready so that the gal sitting at my desk for the next 2 days won't be so lost. She just started here last week so I don't want to have to have her do too much in my absence with these very two demanding guys. I love working for them but they can be quite a handful.
My sister & her husband and son came in last night from MN. They are here until the 12th. It's great to see her. She looks wonderful!! She had WLS in August and has lost 100lbs. She is doing so good. She said she has about 100 more to lose. I can really tell a difference in her. I am so happy for her. She gets around so much easier and seems more comfortable with herself. She is also happier as we are all. I am so proud of her. I am looking forward to getting out and doing stuff. We are going to tour DC on Thursday and I think we are going to try and go to Port Discovery & the Aquarium tomorrow here in Bal. She also wants to go to Medival Times. That will be lots of fun. So it'll be busy for us for the next week but lots of fun!
Well, I had better get my work done. I don't want to be here on minute longer than I have to today.
Enjoy this beautiful day!
Hugs, Robin

Morning!
I'm back to work today after being off yesterday because my Mom was really sick and needed to go to the dr. This caught us totally off-guard, starting on Sunday with a cough and sinus drainage and rapidly progessing to a sinus/upper respiratory infection. Since she has asthma, emphysema and only 1-1/2 lungs, we don't let anything go too long. I'm happy to say that she's feeling a touch better this a.m., which is a good thing - we have 12 pounds of steakfish to be fried on Good Friday and Tia's not doing it!!!!
On the brighter side, B's better - don't know what was up with that! A couple of breathing treatments and some cough medicine, which he only took because Grandma bribed him with a Nestle Crunch bar, and he was opened up and breathing fine! After we had breakfast with the Easter Bunny, we came home to give B a treatment, and K and I were hit with horrendous stomach problems! We had shared a meat omelet and I had 1/2 of a piece of wheat toast. Don't know what caused that, either!! On Friday night, my brother and I went to a Chinese buffets, which I don't normally do because it's such a waste for me, and wouldn't you know it, after about 5 bites of assorted protein/veggies, I was sick as a dog!! I don't know what got stuck, but OMG - I was praying to die! My poor brother had never seen me get sick, and didn't know what to do. I thought it had passed, and then all of a sudden, my mouth started watering!! The bathroom was far away and I really thought I was going to, well, you know, right there at the table!! Fortunately, it passed, and then I felt better. Very strange! This is about the 3rd time I've been sick from Chinese, which used to be one of my all time favorites, but no more!
On Sunday, Mom & I were going to do our annual Easter cemetary run, but frankly, I was just pooped!!! I was up early, but had no energy to do anything! We met my aunt for lunch for a belated bday gift to Mom, and ran a couple of errands, when Mom started getting sick. So back home for us, where I avoided doing anything resembling work!!
I'm sorry you didn't make it to D&B's, too - I missed seeing everyone! That's great about McSis's house, I'm glad it's all working out for her! I know you all will make the best of having a houseful of women for a couple of months. Wow! McSweetie's arrival in your life was timed pretty good - now you have a legitimate reason to leave the house!
I'm almost as anxious for your ps date to get here as you! I'm eagerly awaiting your assessment of the pain/recovery in preparation for my own, coupled with a partial hysterectomy next February!
Okay, well, I've avoided doing work for as long as I can this a.m., so I'd better get to it!! Have a great day!

Well Monday ended with a BANG
My partner twisted her ankle in the SSA parking lot and instead of going to a local hospital she wanted to go to the VA ER so I took her. Worst treatment she has ever recv'd at teh VA and I cussed the little resident out. She asked to see the x-rays and he was very flipant about it responding to her "oh you can read X-rays now." She told him no but as a patient she has the right to see her x-rays and he has a duty to explain them to her. Well we went up front to the nurses station and he goes "here are your x-rays" -- lil ***** thought he was being funny and I said oh so now you're going to be an a-hole about it. He talking about calling security had I been thinking I'd have told him no he need to contact the fire department because I was HOT!!
.
So the nurse wrapped her ankle and I demanded to see the Physician on Duty and when my partner got through speaking with the POD she told him when she gets through with this resident he want be able to treat a rock
-- that was classic. This was the worst treatment experience she has ever had. When we left the little squirrley resident was no where in sight. He was afraid to come back to the exam room with us so the nurse wrapped her ankle and schooled her on crutches.
So this fine Tuesday morning we wait for her foot doctor's office to open and got her an appointment for this afternoon. So I'll be bugging out from work going to pick her up from work in about an hour to take her to the podiatrist. She had a meeting this morning she had to attend -- very ambitious woman I got.
So that is my Monday evening/Tuesday morning --it can only get better.
I'll get home and workout this evening since I didn't ride this morning. I road yesterday (the stationary) bike and about 5 minutes warm-up on the elipitical trainer until I get my time back up on that system. I've been taking my 10 minutes breaks at work and going down to the fitness center and work my arms or legs (on alternate days).
The weight is coming off -- my co-workers are saying I need to go shopping for new clothes and I told them not yet -- but from the looks of things its going to be sooner than later. Each day I walk by a mirror or see myself in the elevator doors -- I'm shocked and amazed.

Hi Terry,
Glad to read that all is fine with you and yours. I want to wish you all the best with your sister moving in. It would be great to have someone help you during your recovery of ps.
Enjoy Dinner with Mark and I am so happy for you sweetie. Enjoy!
As for me I am having major issues with getting my daily liquids in and sometimes I get very discouraged at times but I am hanging in there. I think I am still in the regret stage and I am praying that this stage is over soon.
Have a wondefful evening.
hugs,
Cira
