Thank you and an update from me the trouble maker!! lol

I want to thank you all for all the wonderful support, prayers and good wishes. I can't say enough how I appreciate you all. I thank God everyday for bringing me to this site! I don't think I would have made it through without you all wonderful people in my life rooting for me. As you all know I had a scary complication after my surgery. I want to apologize in advance for scaring some of you before your surgery. I was so worried that you would either back out of surgery because it freaked you out. But I am glad that everyone went ahead despite of the scare. I am so glad to read that you are all doing great and on the road to recovery. As for me well like everyine says everyday gets a little better. I am thankful for my blessings! I am still having a little issue with the breathing especially when I walk and when I try to lay down. I still can not lay flat or on my sides. Hopefully soon my lungs will get rid of all the fluid and I will be able to enjoy laying on my sides again. My hiney is killing me from sitting up in bed all night. It still hurts to take deep breaths but I am doing better in that aspect. Yesterday morning I was going down the stairs and guess what?? Yup I fell can you believe it? So now the area where it hurts a lot to breath is now hurting more. My butt is bruised and so is my left shoulder and right elbow. I immediately started feeling a different pain in my abdomen where the spleen is and it scared me. My husband wanted to take me to the ER at GBMC but I refused to go. I am feeling better today just very sore. I do get to see DVR tomorrow so I will tell him about my fall and see what he wants to do about checking my spleen. I truly believe that everything will get better soon and I am sure everyhting will just be a thing of the past and I am going to be feeling great! Thank you all again for all the love, support and encouragement that you all have given me when it was quite rough for me. Soon I will be up and about chasing all of my friends on the MD forum. lol Have a wonderful day everyone and thanks for reading this long and drawn out post. Hugs, Cira

Hi Cira, I am so sorry you had your complication. I am glad you are healing and before you know it, it will be a distant memory. I am also very sorry that if posting my freak out over it, ever once made you felt bad about it. This is a board for support, good times and bad. I am really glad we were updated on you and your situation. I'm am extreamly glad things turned out well. I had never known anyone with complications and yours just brought the risks of the surgery to the forefront of my mind. I am also grateful for the support, because when I did freak out, all the wonderful people on here calmed me down and I continued on. I want to thank everyone again for being there. I am so glad you are feeling better. Except that fall. I think you should put a sign on those stairs. First Little Gino then you But good thing you are going to see DVR so you can tell him and he can check you out. You are a insperation Cira. You stayed positive through this whole thing and that shows how strong of a person you are. Soon this will be in the distance and will have a story to tell and be support for others who go through complications. I am so thankful to have meet you and have you become a part of my journey and everyone on here. This is a wonderful site and I am very thankful for you guys also making the support group succesfull. Kelly, We should have baby gates for me and lil Gino. lol I am a little sore but feeling a lot better thank God! I am happy to report that I was able to lay on my right side on a semi upright position to take a nap in bed. That is definitely good I was able to keep all the pressure of my butt. That is definitely progress since I have not been able to do that for almost 3 weeks. Yay! Thank you for the sweet words kelly you are such a sweetheart and an inspiration to me too. I will definitely post an update when I get home from seeing DVR tomorrow. Take care and talk to you soon. Hey I went outside for a few minutes and I was freezing I came back inside. Praise God to hear you are doing well -- despite the fall. Prayerfully the fall didn't cause any additional joint or muscle issues and DVR will find everything as it should be -- I'm going to agree with you and God on this one. No!! Thank You!! Cira for being there for all of us!! That's why it was so easy for us to be "here" for U!! Yes!! it will all get better day by day I pray!! You just continue to "Hang on In there!!" Like you have been doing, and it will get better!!! I have steps too, I try to be extra carefull, I sprained my ankle back in December. Everytime I go down the steps, which is almost everyday!! I think about my fall!! Just take your time, be careful!! and Hang On!! Easy Dose it!! just go real slow. Take Extra Special Care!! & God Bless. Peace jbug
