The Weekend is near
Hi Yvette -
I agree, waiting is the pits!! Hopefully, the wait won't be too long and you'll be a loser soon! Take this time to get ready - do whatever housework (ick!) that you won't be able to do for a while after surgery, if you have family that you cook for, maybe prepare and freeze some meals, try out protein drinks and/or bars - but be careful, don't buy too much because you may find that your tastes will change after surgery. There are a couple of good websites where you can buy samples of protein powders. Above all, continue to do your research - there are several good books out there.
Please feel free to come to us with any questions or concerns. We're here for you!

They started out ok. I was in the 6 month weight loss program(Which is unfair) then as I got to my last (5month session) things got crazy, then the wait went from 6 months to over a year. The reason for this surgery is to help me lose the weight and start my life again, not keep me waiting and other things. My Nutritionist, had me waiting for like forever for appts. and My PCP, was a jerk. I just hope and Pray that the other folks go to them they do better by them.
