Newbie saying hi

Hi All - My name is Laura. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone on the Maryland Board. I had lap band surgery on January 5th at Bayview. The surgery and my recovery have gone very well. I'm down by twenty-five pounds and just waiting for that magic restriction so I begin losing even more. I'm definitely looking to make new friends...board friends, hanging out friends, going out friends. Heather (from Rosedale) and I have been in touch a few times. So anyone who's interested, send me a message. I'll try to hang out here on the Maryland Board more often (I can usually be found on the Lap Band Board). Take care, Laura

Laura, CONGRATS on the progress -- keep up the good work. I'll be returning to work tomorrow so I want be checking the board too much but will answer back as soon as I can. I'm 4 weeks out and 30 lbs down

Hi my name is Julie I am from Crofton. I am thinking about the surgery but dont know about a good doctor and am unsure what procedure to have. I am going to try the meetings in Crofton to see what i can learn from others who have been on the journey and those who have completed the journey.Hope your loss continues and you stay well.
