Hi Everybody, I lurk here daily but every once in awhile I like to give you guys an update. Went to see DVR and I am the Poster girl for WLS :>) seriously I am down 80 pounds and have exceeded his expectations in already losing 45% of my weight, Im still waiting on Lab results but I beleive no new is good news. I have begun losing my hair yikes!!! We all know it can happen but when you see it laying in the bottom of the tub it freaks you out for sure! I guess from being overweight all of my life I always took extra care in my skin, makeup, and hair hoping to take the focus off of the body so this is upsetting me a little. I had a Wow moment this week I put on my first pair of pants that were not Plus Size an 18 in Misses and they fit perfectly and of course I cried and wore them proudly to work yesterday and was so tickled with all of the compliments. I am going to get to one of these get-togethers eventually :>) and meet everyone. My Grand daughter does competitive cheerleading and keeps us on the go every weekend but by April we should be done for the season and I will be able to attend something and want to bring my daughter (she had Lapband back in October). Cira girl I am so glad you are home and doing much better I have been praying for you and your family!! Hugs to All!!!! Stephanie

Wow! Congratulations. You are truly doing great. 80 lbs in 3 1/2 months is awesome. I am so happy for you. My hair stopped falling out around 8 months out. It was very distressing for me too. It does stop falling out and it does grow back, albeit slowly. Now when I have hair in my hands from brushing or whatever, I panic. I don't want to start losing hair again. I worry about that because I don't always get in enough protein. I don't know if I can lose the same amount of hair as I did earlier but I don't want to chance it. You do not look old enough to have a granddaughter! Post updated pics soon. Hugs, Robin

Hi Stephanie, Best wishes as your WLS journey continues. Losing the plus or the 'W' on a size is an awesome moment. Hugs, Mo
