Hello all! I have spoke to a few of you since I became a member here.......I am in better spirits since I posted before. I am now doing more research and hopefully obtaining insurance that will cover me......YEAH!!!!! I have loaded some of my wedding pics to my profile....if anyone would like to look. We got married on Valentines Day 2007 in Cape Hatteras, NC.......it was beautiful. I cant wait to renew our vows and be lighter, healthier and happier!!!!! I would also like to build my friends list on here.......I know you guys know how to add friends!!!LOL......I am really interested in meeting people from the Eastern Shore of Maryland!!! Hi Heather Best wishes as your WLS journey continues! Chestertown isn't soooo far away. Maybe we can plan one of our group social gatherings for an expedition to the outlets in Queenstown. As you are researching and looking into WLS, I would recommend that you check out Delmarva Bariatric in Salisbury. Dr Sofronski is a wonderful caring surgeon and doctor. I know his practice has grown since I had my surgery almost 3 years ago, ( I think I was about patient 125) so things may be different now, but he was very involved and hands on through my entire WLS experience and post op. Heather, best of luck in your WLS journey. I checked out the pics and I tell you, you were a beautiful bride. Hubby looks as if he's the fun, loving type. You've got a lot going for you and I sincerely hope that a healthier life style is also in the cards for you. Please keep us updated. Try to join us for an outing. Traci... Thanks for the wondefrul comments on my pics. Yes, I had a beautiful wedding and OMG yes, hubby is fun!!!!! It was also a hard day for me.....mentally I was killing myself cuz I felt like a fat slob....it was a hard day for me, BUT it was the day I decided that I was gonna fight thru my insurance issues and push on for wls! I have already begun my "health" journey......old habits are hard to kick. Caffeine and cigarettes are holding on to me like crazy........but I am slowly getting away. I would love to join an outing and meet everyone...you all seem so real and caring! Just let me know when you guys are close and I will join ya's!!! Heather

Hi Heather Your pictures were beautiful. I got married on Valentines day also but in 2004. That way Hubby will never forget....lol. I hope you can make it out to our outings and mingle with us. We also have a support group in Crofton on April 2nd from 6-8 p.m. I'm not sure how far it would be for you but we would love to have you. Valentines Day seemed like the perfect choice as you said, he cant forget!!! Thanks for the nice comment.....I didnt feel beautiful that day. I would love to join an outing......and make a suport group meeting, however Crofton is a hike for me. I am sure we will talk again, bc I will ask a gazillion questions as I progress thru my journey!!!!! Heather

Hi Heather, I just live over the Bay Bridge on the western shore a couple minutes. I am in Revell Downs before Cape St. Claire if you know the area. go to the Crofton support group but missed this month(was having a bit of a rough time) anyway I hope to get back if you ever want to ride together. Good luck with your surgery. I had mine Aug.13,2006 so I am 7 months out and very glad I did it. I am not online every day but feel free to email anytime. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Hi, I am new to this wls thing too. You ohotos are great and looks like a beach wedding. wow so nice. I will try to go to Crofton meeting since I live there and I will try to learn all I can before I decide what route to go. I hope you can find a meeting to go to or take a road trip to Crofton.
