? About Complications

Hello to all, I was reading about Cira, and I have read a bit about these kinds of issues occuring during a surgery. I am speaking about the nicking of other organs in us. Does anyone have any info on if this happens more in Lap -v- open??? I am praying for Cira and a speedy recovery. I am in Odenton near her, I have not yet had a chance to meet her but if I can be of any assistance to her family please let me know and I will pass my #'s along. Thanks for any replys, so sorry did not make it to Crofton last meeting, looking forward to April I am bringing another friend named Wendy along who is post-op 1 year, she could use this group and the support also. Hi Wendy This is the first time I have heard of this happening. I'm not sure if it is more in open or Laproscopic. Either way you have instuments inside you and I'm sure it can happen in either case. But I would talk to your doctor about it. Cira's in good hands and all the love and support from family and friends is helping her spirits too. 2 of us are going up here today to see her so we we will update everyone on how she is.
