More Cira News
I didn't get to go visit Cira as I planned this afternoon. When I left work, I was greeted by a flat tire. I did call her this evening. Gino had the kids there to visit her. She was glad to see them, but also glad when they left.
She is still in a lot of pain. The pain medication does seem to be helping her ability to breathe more easily. She is waiting to see what plans DVR has to tackle this huge hematoma surrounding her spleen. They are checking her levels every 6 hours to assure that she isn't still actively bleeding.
She needs all good thoughts sent her way. I will try to go see her tomorrow after I get my tire repaired. I am taking the day off as I have to get some blood work and a sonogram of my thyroid. I want to bring her something from all of us- a pretty plant or something like that. Spring flowers... anything to brighten her surroundings. I'll let you know what I find.

I am new to the MD board... I read Cira's post on the main message board about all the pain she was in and I saw the terrible black/blue photos. I just read all the updates and my heart can't help but to go out to her and her family. Please let her know that although she doesn't know me, she is deep in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you!!!
