CIRA UPDATE

Hey all - I found this on the Main Board - once she feels better, I'm gonna beat Cira for not telling us she was in this much pain!!! Post Date: 3/14/07 5:29 am I had surgery on March 6th I had some complications with the JP drain and that is out. I am now on whole liquids I started that yesterday. But for the past night or even days I can not sleep with this aweful gas pain that builds up on my laft side and the pain is intense all the way to my back. When I have this I can not lay in bed or even sit right. I am walking, sipping, stopped the narcortics and my bowels are not sluggish like before. The pain at times shoots up to the top of my tummy and left shoulder all I can do is gasp for air, try walking and beg God for mercy. This is pure torture and I can't take it anymore. I feel like I have the need to belch too but I can't. I never could belch before maybe this is the reason I can not let out no matter how many things I try or do. I had to get on my hands and knees from some relief and passed some. I then propped myself on many pillows and again came this dreaded pain. I am miserable right now. I am so sleepy and I can't sleep. I can't get anything done right to get rid of this have any of you experienced this before and if you did what did you do for it. I have been so out of it that I have not had the energy to thank people the other day for reponding to my horrible looking "black and blue belly" message. Please say a prayer for me if you pray and if you don't send me some positive thoughts my way. Thank you sou much for taking the time to help me. UPDATE: I pm'd Cira and told her to call DVR right away! There's no way she should be in THIS much pain. She pm'd me back and said she did and he wanted to admit her because it didn't sound right to him, either. So she was going to take a shower and head on over. Once I hear more, I'll post more. Hey Tia, Thanks for the update and put me in line to beat her too when she feels better for not telling us! I'll keep her in my prayers and if you talk to her, let her know if she needs anything just gimme a holla. ~Heather

Hey Everyone, I am a friend of Cira's; Gino has taken her to the hospital they are keeping her!! She has blood clots in both lungs (plumonary embolism). It is very scary and serious for her and her family. Cira needs all our prayers!! She is a wonderful person who does not deserve this at all. I will keep you posted as I hear anything from Gino! OH MY GOSH! I'm am SO glad she called DVR because after this long she should NOT be in any kind of pain like THIS. I hope she is okay.
