My drain was removed on Wednesday and Thank God it was a painless event. And I lost 15.5 pounds. So I'm off and running . Dr. VR also gave me the go ahead to start exercising -- so stationary bicycle hear I come. I'm going to start off with just that for the next week or so and work up to about 30 minutes a day and then I'm hitting the eliptical machine -- I love that system. No impact on the knees and gets your thighs and butt in shape.

Great news Nadine!!! i just returned to the gym last tuesday (starting on treadmill of course) I used to do elipticals alot pre-op... and i tried it for 10 minutes after the treadmill. Eliptical stretched out my tummy more and left me a little sore. If you are only a week out you may want to wait for eliptical another week or so. (Just my experience)
