Going to my last big meal before my surgery

Hey everyone, My husband Gino is taking me to have dinner at Timbuktu for my big last meal before my surgery. Today is his only day off for the entire week before he takes 2 weeks off for my surgery. Altho I wanted to go on Saturday he is working a double so today is the day. I am going to enjoy savor it Lobster & Filet Mignon here I come!! lol I was at Timbuktu just the other day and I had a suculant crab cake from there. Just wanted to share. Cira who is so excited that that she has only 6 days until my re-birth!

Hi Kelly, That Lobster was awesome and my filet too. Last for a very long time! Gino and I had a wonderful night out and when I came home my oldest daughter had already gone to bed with the kids so we had no children to sleep with. lol I must say we were too full and bloated for anything else and the 2 margaritas knocked me out since I really have not drank much for a very long time. lol Thank you for the number I stored on my cell. Cira - Glad you had such a nice dinner!! Don't worry, you'll be able to eat the stuff again - but this time, a meal will last you for 2-3 meals!!! As for the 'ritas, they're my fave - I first drank one at 10 mos. post-op, I found a s/f mix, and OMG!!! I couldn't feel my teeth and didn't remember the next two hours!!! Actually, now that I think about it, it was kind of fun!!!!!!!! We'll talk before the surgery!! Hang in there!!!! It's a'comin'....!!! Tia

Cira, Baby girl I am SO excited for you!!! Your new birthday will be here soon! Enjoy your "last supper" but you will still be able to eat good stuff after surgery. Just a lot less. I need to go get some lobster next week at Dellis'. They have a 1lb stuffed lobster for just $18 w/ 2 sides YUM-O!!!

I hope so Heather I just want to be happy and not miserable like some people have posted on the main boards. Yummy on the stuffed lobster I wish I had seen it I would have ordered it for sure. It has got to be yummy. Well sometime in the future I can try it. hugs, Cira

Cira, I was thinking about hitting Timbuktu up again before my surgery. My hubby sampled my leftover Crab Imperial from Saturday and now he wants to go. Honestly, how many last meals am I going to do. lol I am trying to not gain any weight before the surgery. In fact, I wanted to losea few, but it doesn't seem to be happening. So if I maintain at least I know I will be losing soon enough. I hope you had a wonderful dinner. Wanda

Oh yeah it was fun. My husband and I had a great time together. I had so many last meals that I gained like 3 pounds altogether. Thank you Wanda! keep me posted on how everything goes for you. just 3 weeks for you. Hugs Cira
