Good Tuesday Morning Everybody! How is everyone today? How goes the eating, protein, supplements, fluids and exercise? I'm doing great! Eating/protein/supplements & fluids are all great. I haven't exercised lately (unless you count being on the working end of a shovel on Sunday afternoon)..but I will get back to it! Even though the eating is good, I somehow have regained 4lbs...not sure what's up with that. I know I have not eaten 4lbs worth of weight. I'm trying not to stress over it. Morning Terry I'm checking in early ... have a class today in Glen Burnie, so I'll probably be out of touch most of the day. Class is from 8 to 2:30. I stayed last night and finished up some stuff in the office so I think I'll just come home when the class is done unless something really comes up. Did almost 3 full rounds on the circuit this a.m. The only machines I didn't do twice were the two major leg muscle ones. I'm getting comfortable with the lateral raise at 10 pounds (the minimum) might be able to raise it to 15 pounds soon. I am definitely seeing an improvement in how much weight I can do on the other pieces of equipment. Moved the abdominal to 50 pounds this a.m. Working on getting some extra 'cardio' at night .. vacuuming and cleaning ... the family room was such a mess that it's a two night project. Hope to get that finished tonight and then up the stairs. Tomorrow night I'm mopping the slate in the front hall!!! I just wish I could see some results on the scale .. or even my clothes .. I guess when I go to see Dr S on the 23rd the results will show in my body fat percentage which is what he cares about! Have a great day! Hugs, Mo

Hey Terry - things are so boring this time of year! Protien, water, diet, same old stuff. I am looking for some good ways to get more protein in my diet. How is it going with you?

Hi Linda, I still drink two protein drinks a day. I figure I can always use the protein and the water in them counts toward my fluid count for the day. I get in a minimum of 70oz per day, but usually it's more like 100+ oz. Things are going great for me! Take Care, Terry

Good morning Terry Everything is great on this end. Just back home from the gym. My house is full of sicky's so I had to get out of my house for a while. I was up with my 2 little dogs lastnight they got into something because they both were sick all night. So barely any sleep then when I did fall and wake up hubby was home not feeling well. The dogs finally feel better as they are chasing each other around now and I told my husband he better not get me sick cause I leave for my scrapbook Ocean city weekend Thursday and I do not want to be sick...lol. Good morning. Not as much work to do today. I got a lot done yesterday and that always feels so good. I am going to finish filing today, I couldn't finish last week because I ran out of files. I gathered more supplies today so I can finally get this stuff off of my desk. Doing good with eating, exercise and vitamins. I am just so tired all the time. I wake up after 7 hours of sleep and I feel like I could sleep another 7 hours. I am not sure what is going on. I am usually so energetic. Something has definitely changed in the past two weeks. I am not sure if I should go to the doctor now or wait until I see my surgeon on the 13th. He is going to be checking my blood levels. Some people think I am working out too much. But I am getting in 4-5 days worth of exercise, 3 at curves (35 min total) and 2 days at the gym here. I sometimes double up with the gym and curves but I haven't done that in over a week. I just don't see how I am exercising too much. I am getting in plenty of protein so that's not the problem either. Maybe its just another Fibromyalgia spell. I really don't like these things. I am just so wiped out. I am getting 2000mcg of B-12 a day so I should be good there. Well, I had better get back to work. Have a great day. Hugs, Robin

Morning - All's quiet here, which is a rarity. I have a busy week, with a retirement party I'm hosting on Friday and my bgf's surprise 40th party on Saturday. My heart's really not in planning the retirement party, but I've got to give it as much as I can. I just think I've spread myself too thin (yeah, right), lately. Coupled with some extra stupid depression that I've been experiencing, it's been quite the struggle lately. On the eating/fluids front, I've alway been really good about getting in everything I need daily - it's just the grazing aspect that I need to get a hold of. For anyone that's pre or newly post-op - take it from me - CARBS BEGET CARBS! If you can possibly avoid it, DO NOT open the carb door! Trust me, you will feel like Harry Potter when he discovered the Chamber of Secrets had been opened!! On the bright side, I'm working with a good therapist and my PCP, who actually was pretty good when I saw her last week, adjusted my Effexor, so maybe with everything combined, I can get back on track - and stay there!! If I could only get my brother to put my treadmill together!!! Ugh!!! I just threatened him that if he doesn't do it soon, I'll see to it that he has no food or clean clothes! And THAT I can do!! Does happiness weigh anything? Maybe that's where your 4 pounds came from!!! Don't sweat it, just keep on doing what you're doing!! So that's it for me. Again, Mom and I had a really nice time on Saturday. Thanks to you and Mo for getting me there! Death to Mapquest!!!!! CYA, Tia
