Finally Approved!!!!

I began my journey just before Xmas of 2006-I was looking at family thanksgiving photos and realize I was the biggest person in the picture! I was horrified. I decided to call St. Agnes hospital one day and was told that very night they were having a seminar and I could attend..I did. I've been on the fast track since then..Well, yesterday after weeks, of testing, going back and forth with insurance company I finally called them yesterday and had the pleasure of having the CSR tell me I was approved!!! I cried..she wished me luck:)-So I'm just waiting for my doctor's office to call me hopefully Monday with a surgery date. I'm 5'5 293 ~my goal? to remain 5'5(smile) and weight 145-150

Yeah Tina! Congratulations! I assume you have either Dr. Singh or Dr. Averbach? I had Dr. Averbach and can't say enough good things about him. I've also met Dr. Singh and he's wonderful too. Keep us posted! Take Care, Terry

Hi Tina Congrats on your approval. It was around Christmas of 04 that i started my reaserching after I saw pictures of myself from the summer. It is a great ride and buckle yourself in. Again congrats and keep us updated on your journey. Kelly

Hey Tina, if you go to a chiropractor he/she maybe able to add a few inches to you. When I started I was 5'6" and now I'm 5'6" and 3/4. Congratulations on getting approved and moving forward -- I know how you feel about being approved and that calls for a Keep us informed.
