You guys are soo good to each other! Lol. If only everyone was so positive and supportive. Anyway, I'm just starting on my WLS journey. Still going to appointments and waiting for insurance approval. Uh. Who knew documenting all those failed attempts would be so hard. Its like once I failed, I wanted to eliminate all evidence, but now my insurance wants more and more information. So sickening. But these are just times when I have to take it to the quote: "It will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end." That helps me keep my head above water. Also just found out last week that I have high blood pressure. Uhhh. Still waiting on results of blood. Spraying maddddd postivitiy. Well sleep study scheduled for Thursday. How freaky to prepare for strangers to watch me. Anyway, Im just typing away. Time to get off. See ya!

Ebony, I love the quote! There are so many areas in my life that I could use that specific quote as a pick-me-up. Sorry about the high BP, but as we all know, it comes with the obesity territory. Mine has dropped substantially. Was on 5 meds, and now on a very small dosage of one. So glad I had this surgery, and your turn will be here before you know it. Best of luck with the sleep study. You know your not going to sleep? You'll be sick of counting sheep! It will all work out ok, though. I look forward to seeing updates from you. TraciL

Yes, this is a great support group. So glad you have you here too! I really like your quote. Very positive and motivating. All of the documenting and testing and such will be well worth it when you have approval and surgery. It can be frustrating but it sounds like you are well ahead of the game with a positive "can-do" attitude. It's great to "meet" you.! Hugs, Robin

Morning Ebony, Keep pushing forward. Many of the hoops seem silly but in the end, when you get that approval, it is all worth while. Just keep answering each request or question and it will all work out. Sorry to hear about the BP issue. My BP went up about 5 years ago and I have been on meds for it since then. My big gotcha was that my blood sugars are rising (diabeties). Ugh... The sleep study is not much fun...too many wires and sensors to get comfy and sleep...but it is only one night. Just grin and bear it! Keep a sense of humor and go very tired. Good luck and keep us up to date on how things are going. Dave

Hi Ebony, Keep on doing everything that ask for you will soon get your approval snd surgery date and it will be all worth it in the end. I love the quote I need to remember it!! As for the sleep study it was a bit weird with all the wires and stuff it took me a long time to fall alseep but eventually I did and they were able to get the info they needed. I am sorry about the high blood pressure. Being post op hopefully that will be a thing of the past for you. Wishing you all the best in your journey and please keep us posted. hugs, Cira
