I have been just plain lazy this weekend. I guess the cold just gets to me. I did take care of a few home chores, but basically I have slept and watched videos. If anyone called me to leave my cocoon, I have grumbled and fussed. I am so not liking being cold. I noticed that my laundry basket is emptier this week. I think I will actually be able to carry it up the stairs. As I am not able to fit in items of clothing, I place them in a garbage bag immediately after I wash them. The garbage bags are getting bigger and bigger and the laundry basket is getting emptier and emptier. I really need to find some new clothes. I just don't want to buy a lot when I will only wear it for a few weeks. I am also afraid of my new sizes. Does that make sense? I walked through Walmart Saturday looking at the clearance racks and found nothing.... Shopping on both "sides" of the store is a completely new venue for me. I never thought it would be so hard to leave fat clothes behind. Oh well.... Have a great day!!! Aime

Good Morning Aime It's nice to have a lazy weekend in cold weather like this. I agree with you it is hard to leave our fat clothes behind. I have 3 sweaters that I love and come to my knees now but cant get rid of them so I just wear them around the house when I get really cold which is all the freakin time now...lol. Hope you have a great day and week and see you on Saturday. Kelly

My weekend was filled with astronomy. Friday night, my astronomy club set up scopes for the Groovy Science night at Eldersburg Elementary school. We had about 150 kids and parents look through our scopes from 6:30 to 9pm. When we packed up it was 12 degrees. It was amazing though...if you are dressed properly it really was not cold. Saturday we spent the day with the girls cleaning and playing games. Saturday night, I was again doing astronomy stuff. We were putting on a class for new members in our club at Bear Branch Nature Center. So I did not get home until about 10. Sunday was all about NASCAR. 'nuff said. I just don't get the scrapbooking stuff. My wife and daughters are in to it big time. I could even see doing it occasionally...but these weekend crops are incredible. My wife tells me that there are some folks that literally scrap all night long. But with that said...my wife can't figure out why I want to go out to really remote places and look at the stars all night. Hope everyone stays warm and I really hope this snow will finally start to melt this week. Have fun and have a great week, Dave

Hi David looks like you had a great weekend. Yes the scrapbooking ocean city trip is all nighters they even have a pajama party on saturday night and we all scrap in our jammies. It's alot of fun. How long has your wife been doing it? My mom is a Creative Memories consultant and they are the ones who put the whole Ocean city retreat together. Hope you have a great week and take care Kelly

You scrappers are just nuts! My wife got interested shortly after my first daughter was born about 11 years ago. She found a CM rep that really got her hooked. She and her best friend started going to the weekend events and all sorts of local crops. They would come home, exhausted, horse, and toting 3 or 4 finished pages. At first I just thought they were nuts (and still do) but then her friend decided to leave her current carreer and open a scrapbook store. My wife eagerly followed along and has been working with her from day one. They don't get to do as much scrapping as they used to, but they do have a great time. Oh well...have fun at the Ocean. Even though you will be inside, I hope you get decent weather for the trip. Enjoy. Dave
