Good morning all Thank goodness for good 'sniffle' drugs! I took a decongestant last night and actually slept fairly well. Took another one when I got up very early this morning and then a couple of tylenol just about 7 a.m. so I am feeling much better. I discovered last night that even if I HAD felt up to going to Big V to work out the last couple of mornings, they had no power and were closed. I think they were back up and running this morning, but I elected to go back to bed until 5:30 rather than get up and take the runny nose to the gym. I will get back to the gym routine on Tuesday a.m. We are taking off to CT tomorrow morning to be there for a surprise party tomorrow at 5 p.m. for my brother in law's 50th. I'm excited not so much by the party but we are going to stay with my best g/f and that will give us some time to visit. My sister and her b/f are leaving early Sunday a.m. for Puerto Rico so I won't see her but I'll spend some time with my parents while we are there too. Most of the weekend will be taken up with Mr Mo's family because there are a few coming from out of town but seeing my mom and dad is a priority too. Have a WebEx demo from 9-12 this morning that I have to coordinate here, so I best get moving. Will try to check back later. Hugs, Mo

My 'sniffle' meds ran out about noon time and I got re-congested. Popped another 2 tylenol extra strength and I'm back in business here!!! Looking forward to the day being over though. Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Mo

Seems like just about everyplace in AA county has no power except my wifes' workplace. They don't lose power and don't close! But hey...where would the world be without an open scrapbook store!!! Anyway...enjoy CT. Should be nice and cold. My only question is how in the world did you let someone plan a party so you would have to be away during the Daytona 500????? Have fun and be safe! Dave

Believe me Dave .. it was done for the convenience of those having to travel (we have family coming in from California and Wisconsin and of course us from Maryland) since it is a holiday weekend. At least the party is on Saturday night so that I can go in search of a big screen TV for the race on Sunday. I am considering going to Mom and Dad's and making Dad watch the race I would go to my sister's house, but she's leaving on vacation EARLY Sunday a.m. and I don't have a key!!! (She has an awesome big screen set up and comfy couch). Hugs, Mo

Afternoon Mo. I am glad you are getting power back in AA. It's just too darn cold to be without power. I had an Excel training class yesterday that kept me out of the office. It was a lot of fun. I learned a lot more than I expected to learn. I have worked with Excel for years and this is the Excel 1 class so I didn't think I would learn anything new. I had to take 1 in order to take 2 & 3. But I learn quite a bit that will help me use the program more effeciently. The instructor was very good. He had great voice inflection and taught with enthusiasm. Very enjoyable. I went to Burlington Coat factory on my lunch break and found another pair of workout pants and a nice skirt/blazer outfit on clearance. They had a dress that was small leopard print and was pretty cute, not risque or anything. I didn't buy it cuz I thought the leopard print wasn't my style but I am thinking of going back to get it. It was a size 12!! So is the skirt/blazer that I bought. I am going to look for jeans this weekend and some new workout shoes. I worked out today at the gym here and I am going to curves right after work. Then I am sitting with my friend this weekend. She just had breast reduction surgery and needs someone to be with her the first 24 hours after being released from the hospital. My hubby is camping with the Royal Rangers from church this weekend so I figured I'd have somewhat of a girls night out myself. I am planning on watching some good old fashioned chickflicks while my friend sleeps! Have a fun trip to CT. Hugs, Robin

I did an Adobe forms design class this a.m. That was fun and I just hope I get a chance to practice before I forget everything I learned!!! I love finding things on sale/clearance! I had that experience at Kohls and Old Navy the other day. Got two nice pairs of slacks for work at Old Navy for $6.97 each Hugs, Mo

Hi Linda, I am hanging in there. can you believe I have a sore and scratchy throat. I went to see my PCP today to get checked out. They did a culture of my throat and told me I would get a call if the culture is positive so they can have me treated with another round of antibiotics so nothing dleays my sugery this time around. My kids are getting over strep throat and an ear infection so it has been jumoing from person to person here. I am also looking forward to seeing you guys too. Hugs, Cira
