Good frosty morning A good thing about going out at 4:45 a.m. to the gym is that you are still half asleep and don't realize QUITE how cold it REALLY is. The temp in big blue this morning was reading 10 degrees when I went to the gym. That is COLD!!! I realize it's not as cold as some other places .. but it's STILL cold!!!! I was running a bit behind this a.m. but I still managed two rounds on the circuit and squelched the thought in my head that if I packed my work stuff I could just stay LONGER at the gym and get ready and leave from there!!! What WAS I thinking ???? I am not going to turn into a gym rat!!! It gets easier all the time though and I am really enjoying it. If I could turn back the clock 2 1/2 years I would have joined the gym MUCH sooner, but I guess it had to be in my own time when I was ready for it. Crofton was fun last night. Several new faces (to me at least) and a very congenial group. Looking forward to Timbuktu on the 24th! Hugs, Mo

GM Mo - Yep, it's cold, definitely nekid mailman weather!!!! I applaud you for not staying in bed - if it makes you feel any better, at 4:45, I was lying cozily under two down comforters, subconsciously waiting for the alarm to go off (I hate those last 15 minutes!) Dear old Dad warmed my car up for me, God bless his little soul! BTW, Dad's a celebrity - he was at the Essex Diner this a.m. when Ron Matz & Channel 13 came in (they travel to different restaurants in the a.m.), and talked to him for about 25 minutes. Dad said they were really nice and they LOVED his Ravens coat, which is one of the originals. Pretty Cool!!! Gary came home mightily whipped last night - the wind just beat his poor face up, it was blood red, and that was with protection. It's funny, this time of year, whenever I smell Chapstick or the original Vaseline Intensive Care lotion, I am immediately transported back to my childhood. In the winter, Mom always used to slather both of us with those things because we had such sensitive skin. I LOVE the smell of both! Crazy, I know. It's kind of like smelling a new plastic shower curtain liner reminds me of Christmas, because new Barbies and babydolls had that "plastic" smell! Yes, Tia's nuts. B has a follow-up doctor's appointment for his asthma, which, I'm afraid, has progressed into a cold judging by the ginormous amounts of mucus he's been blowing! OMG! I didn't know a body could hold that much snot!!! TMI! Then I'll take them to dinner and K and I need to work on the science project. Hopefully, my brother will get my treadmill put together - I don't want to bug him because he's so wiped, but I want it NOW! And Tia's NOT mechanically inclined! I've got lots of transcription to do, too, so it looks to be a busy rest of the week. Have a wonderful day!!! Toa

On the topic of snot, I have a 5th grader on my bus this AM asking me if I ever made a snotsicle. Now, there's a lot of odd/gross things I've done in my life, but a snotsicle never crossed my mind. So he goes on to explain the whole concept to me with 40 other elementary kids listening. Something new learned everyday! The joys of public school transportation. TraciL

Believe me, if I had a dollar for every time I said, "Blow!" (snot) this weekend, I could go to Hawaii with you!! T.

Soooo did they show Dad on WJZ this morning??? The mother of one of my cashiers was on when they were at Chick & Ruth's in Annapolis one morning and it was her birthday. They showed her on camera and wished her a happy birthday and all. Darcy emailed WJZ to ask about getting a copy of it and I think it was $35 but she said well worth it to have that memory of her Mom's birthday. I remember the days when Mr Mo was out on the street. It's been a few years (well .. like 12 or 13) so the memory is fading ... but it wasn't pretty .. I won't even go there with the snot!!! I know what it's like when I'm blowing my nose .. ya just wonder where it all comes from ... AND .. how there's room for anything else up there Hugs, Mo

Yep, Dad was on there. Don't know that I need a memorial of Marty Bass admiring Dad's Ravens coat, but whatever!!! Nope, a windblown mailman is not a happy mailman. Actually, I guess the effect is kind of like a sunburn, he's just truly exhausted these past couple of days. Sometimes, not even the $$ compensates!!! Brian got so sick of me saying, "Blow!" that he would give me one or two good blows and then just sit there!!! MEN!!! Tia

Good Morning Mo BRRRRR isnt the word. It is times like these I wish i had remote start. I think when I get my new car in a few months I am going to check it out. I know some new cars are coming equipt with it especially family vehicles or I should just say it Vans. I am trying to come to terms with my purchasing a van soon. But it will be a better buisness move then a big suv. It will be for my daycare. Easier to transport kids then a tahoe that I wanted. But no gym for me today i think I have that bug thats going around. Woke up this morning not feeling good. But if I feel better tommmorow I will be there. Hope you have a great day and see ou at Timbucktu. Kelly

I say go Van. You'll love the room, it will be beneficial to your daycare, and your also going to love the room it has when you start your own family. Great for travelling - lots of room. Hope you feel better. TraciL
