Hi everyone, I just wanted everyone to know that I made it through the surgery last friday and actually came home on saturday. All is well, the one thing I want to say is it really hurts to burp!!!! I've only done it twice but man oh man what a pain! Getting the protein in is very hard but I seem to be getting a little more in each day. Thanks everyone for all you support over the last few months!

I still think it hurts to burp, but it sure feels better then the pain of the air down in that pouch. Welcome home and welcome to the losing side! Aime

I am so glad that you are back home recovering and doing good. I am sorry about those painful burps. I hope you get to feeling better very soon. I am wondering what type of protein drink are you having? Do you like it? Is it Isopure by any chance? Wish you the very best in your journey. Hugs, Cira

Debbie, welcome home and glad to hear that your doing well. Never had a hard time with the burping (excuse you, by the way!) but the first time I ate over my food limit and I got the hiccups, that was a walk on the wild side. Thought I was going to bust a gut. Even to this day, that is a continued sign that I have reached my eating limit. It reminds me I need to pay attention to the pre-cursor signals before the hiccups begin. My family just laughs. They are pretty loud and obnoxious. Take care! TraciL

Hi Debbie, Glad to hear you're home and doing well. Just do your best with the protein and fluids and it'll get better. Make sure you get up and walk around as much as possible, that will help with the gas (and the need to burp). Keep us posted. Take Care, Terry
