OK....another gal got her call already!!!

There was a girl in the same info session with me on 1/24 at DVR's office. She got a call yesterday to set up her consult. My question is this....do they check to see if your insurance will cover the surgery for you first? If anyone knows the answer to this please et me know. Gail

I'm no expert, but I'm thinking that they don't check about insurance coverages prior to scheduling a consultation. I'm sure they confirm coverage prior to scheduled surgery though. HTH Take Care, Terry

Hi Gail, When I went for my information session I had to give them a copy of my insurance card and they made the call to the insurance carrier to make sure they cover the surgery. After they have verified your benefits they call you for you consultation appointment. Good luck! you should be getting a call soon. Cira
