February Outing

Hey all! Yesterday at tea we were talking about where to go next, Mo elected me to set up the next outing. LOL Savage Mill was brought up as was Timbuktu. If you want you can check out Savage Mill at www.savagemill.com if you've never heard of it. The Boar's Head resturant is there and from what I understand they have a pretty decent menu. There is a link on the Savage Mill website to theirs. We could walk the Mill and check out the stores above and the antiques below then do lunch. Or the other idea was a nice lunch at Timbuktu. They also have a decent menu and prices from what I remember. Their website is www.timbukturesturant.com. I was thinking of February 24th as a good date. It's a Saturday. I know Mo has plans the previous weekend and the 25th Heather Modispaw has plans as do I....so I was trying for something in between. I know March is bad for Terry M. If anyone has any other suggestions or dates in mind let me know and we can see if we can get this to work. Thanks!!! Heather

Hey Heather The 24th will work for me. I am good with either place, but I think I'd like to try Timbuktu. We hopefully could have a leisurely lunch and have a small celebration of Pat Spangler's upcoming nuptials! Hugs, Mo

Hey girlie! It's Ram's Head! hehehe What is up with the Boars Head? Are you subconsciously needing protein? Boars Head is a brand of luncheon meats at the deli! hehehehe I am good for that date. Either place is fine with me. My Holiday Party was at Ram's Head and the food was DELISH! BUT, Timbuktu has one of the best crab cakes around. Those of you who have had a G&M crab cake or one from By The Docks, it is the same recipe and equally as HUGE! hehehe

The 24th works for me. Either idea sounds good. I'll let Sue know, but she's having foot surgery right around that date. I know she would not be able to walk either before, and definitely after the surgery. Her foot is really giving her a fit. A sit down lunch would be best for her. I'll wait for a final decision before mentioning it to her. Fun!! TraciL

I am dying to meet everyone - The date and Timbuktu sound good to me. I've been there and it's nice and the crabcake is very good. They are huge, so we will have a lot of doggie bags!
