100 LBS GONE AND HOPE ARRIVES!
Hello, my friends,
I am so sorry that I had to miss the tea party! My son had to come home from work because he was sick. There is good news, however. I have lost 100 lbs as of yesterday. I am so happy. I am going to splurge on some fun stuff at Robert Andrew!
I will also be able to make the Feb. 5th gathering at the Crofton Library! Yay, I can't wait. Talking about vitamins will be a good thing and just seeing everyone will be even better! I haven't seen you all since November (?) or whenever we went to Chili's in Annapolis.
The hope that has arrived is from going to the Pain Management Center in Annapolis for my leg pain. They think they can help me! Halleluia! I have to go for an open MRI (now that I can fit) on Weds. and I am really scared. I am claustrophobic and will be taking valium to get through. After that, we will decide the best course of action. I am optimistic for the first time in a year. Please say a prayer that all goes well.
See you all soon.
Julie
CONGRATULATIONS Julie!!
I am so happy for you. You are doing an awesome job and yes you definitely deserve to treat yourself.
I hope you get the help you need with your leg. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for good pain management.
I am not sure if I will be able to make it to the Feb 5th meeting since my surgery is the next day and I have no idea if I will be stuck in the throne. lol
Maybe I get to meet you at the next meeting.
God Bless
Cira
Hi Julie
You were missed yesterday, but there will be another gathering soon. Heather M and I are talking about February 24 or 25th, possibly for lunch at Timbuktu. We want to have a little party for Pat Spangler who is getting married March 17.
I am planning on the Feb 5th meeting in Crofton too. Hope to see you then.
Hugs, Mo
P.S. Wonderful news about the 100 pounds too.
WTG on the 100 lbs loss!! You are doing so well. Glad to hear that the Calvary has arrived to assist with pain management and options. An open MRI is a breeze. Had one about 5 years ago. Just breath deeply and relax. It helps that you can see more of your surroundings outside of the machine. Still tight, but not like the enclosed. You'll make it through just fine. Please let us know what they come up with. I'll see you on the 5th. Take it easy. Tell son I hope he feels better soon. My daughter is dealing with the creepy crawlers right now, but heading back to school tomorrow after missing three days last week. So glad that we were off today!
