3 weeks post op
Heya guys!!
Sorry for my abrupt disappearance.. Puter took a dive on me and finally got it usable again..
I've missed you all!!
So far I have lost 30 lbs in 3 weeks!! YAY!!! Alittle discouraged to find that I did gain 2 lbs this week.. my cousin who had the surgery last year said that its normal.. but I am still alittle wierded out by that..
Had my first bad experience.. Didnt think a smoothie would have me feeling that way, but its my own fault.. I forgot about the sugar thing.. MAN THAT WAS HORRIBLE!!! Memo to me, ixnay on the bad bad sugar.. Good news is that I found that they make Reeses cups in Sugar free form!! I did alittle dance in the CVS!! lol Joy and Rapture!! I have also found out what it feels like when things get "stuck".. also an interesting experience..
But I just wanted to stop in and say hey! I was thinkin of you guys.

Kimmy,
Congrats!!! Yes they do have SF Reese's cups, but I have found it is better to avoid them too! One is never enough AND if you are like me the lactatol they use in place of the sugar is just as bad as the sugar. It causes serious gas and diarrhea in a lot of people. Some things are just better left alone. I have tried to find the foods I LOVE that are "legal" for me (and my band) and concentrate on them. I don't have enough willpower to stop at just at one of anything. Keep up the good work and keep being a big LOSER!
Happy es on the 30 lbs. That is fantastic. Dumping is no fun at all. All it takes is once, and you will do your damndest to avoid it ever again. I have found that even the sugarfree candies are too sweet for me now. I don't crave them at all either. In the past, I was a major Snicker's bar eater. I can walk past one now and not even start to have my mouth water.
You are still so early. Hold off on the sweets, sf or otherwise for a while yet.
Are you coming tomorrow to the Tea Party?
