January 28th - Retro Tea

The 'menu' at Retro tea will include both the soup/salad combo plus traditional tea selections. They will have 'light' selections on hand in light cream cheese, mayo, open face sandiwiches to help with our choices as well. I need to go back through the previous posts and get a list together, but if y'all would like to help out and repost here that would be great! the time is 2:30 p.m., Sunday Jan 28 at Retro Tea (www.retrotea.com) in Bowie. Looking forward to a cold day to be there. Not that it is really my style, my pass-a-long 'new' coat (to me) has been hanging in a special closet for over 4 years and now that I can just begin to get my arms in it, I will be wearing it. I wore it last night and felt like a million dollars. heheheh My wonderful husband, Bruce, told our friends last night that I had the surgery in order to fit into the coat. Must admit, it was an incentive as I had refused to purchase another cold weather coat at my previous size. It would take too many down feathers. hahaha See you next Sunday and at 40 pounds lighter, Adrienne

Hi Mo, and everyone, I haven't been online since the crofton meeting.I barely ever get a chance. I hope I can get back soon. I stopped in to see about the tea.I would love to come but I still have 2 things to work out- one is how to get their and two is that I have to check with my kids. My daughter's birthday is thurs and my son's is Mon the 29th and I promised them both some stuff so I have to make sure they don't conflict. I will try and figure it all out and get back to you soon. I am hooked on herbal tea and would love to come. I love the crofton meetings and look forward to them each month. Have a great day. I saw one of the other posts and I am happy to say I finally broke the 300's too and I am thrilled.It has been years. At one point I was trying to break the 400's and now my goal is 275.I make short term goals because the big ones seem to far away. Every day something new and exciting happens and I am loving it. Moie, I'm so sad. I have to withdrawal my head count of 2. Floyd just got a DJ/karaoke gig for Saturday and with him laid off we REALLY need the cash. I don't have anyone to watch Kylie with him doing a show. I'll miss you all this time around!
