New Here..........HI!!

My name is Marilyn and I am a long time post-op patient (5+ years) of Dr. Lin in DC. I used to come to OH all the time pre-op and a little post op; boy, has the place changed! There are so many more message boards, it's much easier to navigate, etc., etc. Anyway, I came back to check it out, since I find myself referring people here during their "discovery" phase of checking out whether WLS is right for them, and I wanted to be sure it was still a helpful and friendly place. It sure is. I find myself wanting to get back to checking the site out on a regular basis....and am looking for support too as I get back on track after allowing some bad habits to resurface. So I just thought I'd introduce myself since I may be posting now and then, and I don't want people to wonder "who the heck is THAT!" Thanks for letting me hang out with you....... Hi Marilyn and welcome back. Were a great bunch on here. We have a support group in Crofton. Not sure how far you are from here. Also there are get togethers that they plan. This month we are going to the retro tea room on Jan 28th at 2:30. Check out some post down that say tea party and all the details are there. Mo is getting it together. Hi Marilyn Welcome back! As Kelly said we have a wild and crazy bunch here (oh .. maybe she didn't say THAT !!!), but we do have fun . We are going to have a social gathering on the 28th at Retro Tea in Bowie (www.retrotea.com) at 2:30. I know Gaithersburg is sort of 'out there' from Bowie, but on a Sunday it might be a nice drive. HI Marilyn! Nice to "meet" you. All of the MD people are GREAT! Support is just what we all need when those old habits start creeping back! For me I am just beginning, but I am working hard at kicking the old habits. Some days I find myself overeating and I pay for it later (with pain).
