Hello, what is the average weight loss in a month? I see the inches but not the weight I thought I would in a month?

Hi My doctor told me 10 pounds in a month. I lost a bit faster in the beginning, but all in all it averaged about 10 /mo for the first year (well ... not exactly ... because it took me 15 months to lose 100 pounds). Everyone is different and you shouldn't compare yourself to others because it can be frustrating. If you are following your doctor's instructions and protocol you will lose what you need to lose. Best wishes as your WLS journey continues. Hugs, Mo

Yep, that's great!!!!! Think about it this way - when was the last time you EVER lost 27-30 pounds in a MONTH!!! WOW!!!! Cira's right - although it's hard not to compare yourself with others, you're not gonna do yourself any favors by doing that. Take heart in the fact that you've lost inches - the scale's not always our friend. You're doing fabu! Keep up the good work! Tia
