Awake!
Good morning !!!
Am I the only one awake this morning? It's already 8:30 a.m. and I am BARELY awake. I think our waitress last night must have made a fresh pot of leaded coffee not decaf .. because I was STILL wide awake at midnight last night and finally toddled off to bed about 12:30, and boy am I groggy this morning.
Yesterday ended up a semi-productive day. The basic laundry is all done, so today I have to tackle 'my' stuff .. you know the stuff that I can't let Mr Mo near for fear of never being able to wear it again. My goal for today is to get my bedroom redone. I have a new pillow top type mattress pad/cover and pretty flannel sheets and a new comforter and shams. While I am at it, I am going to try to get rid of some clothes and clutter. I got rid of the bulk of my BIG clothes two years ago but I still have things that I held on to or that I just plain don't wear so there is no reason to keep them. I just need to take a deep breath and jump in and DO it!
It looks like it's not going to be nearly as warm today as yesterday and if I'm not mistaken I see a few raindrops in the forecast so I should be able to concentrate on my chores (famous last words ... it doesn't take much at all to distract me ..)
I did rip a whole lot of music onto my hard drive yesterday and put about 7 hours worth on my mp3 player so I'm set for a while. Mr Mo's new PC has a HUGE hard drive and has the slot for a 'media' player which is actually another hard drive. We have decided we need to invest in the media thingy and rip ALL our CD's onto it because that would make them portable and would also give us the chance to inventory all our music. Maybe I'll see and get it for him for Valentine's day as a surprise.
Ok, the first 'distraction' is raising it's cute little head ... Mr Mo asked me if I want the first shot at the shower ... it will be a shower then out to get coffee/breakfast and then some errands before I get back to start on the bedroom and laundry!
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Hugs, Mo
Good afternoon Mo,
My gooness you are such an early riser. lol I need to learn to wake up earlier. My daughter let me sleep most of the night so I made up for some lost sleep. I woke up at 10:30 this morning because my daughter was begging for some water. i was so exhausted I really didn't want to get up at all. But I had to do my "mommy" duties. lol
Girl, you are way ahead of me cause I have never had a mp3 player. I was thinking of giving hubby a hint soon for one so I can use it while exercising.
I hope you have a wonderful day with Mr. Mo.
My hubby left to work at 1;30 pm and will be home by midnight. I am actually stripping the beds and washign the bedding. Ughhhh if only I had a house maid to do that for me. i feel like I can be easily distracted today and might not get much accomplished here. As you see I am on line now! lol
Take care
Cira
Hi Cira
Here it is almost 4 p.m. and I've gotten my dark 'delicates' into the machine and half into the dryer, but the sweaters still have to be washed, then I have the lights. We went out to breakfast and then to the Sam's Club and Walmart at Port Covington then took the LONG way home, so I haven't gotten anything accomplished in the bedroom yet. The TV is on with the football game, so I think I'll go see what I can do in there while I am 'watching' the game.
I am DETERMINED that if I can ever get this house in shape again, I am going to get a cleaning service to come in every other week to keep it up for me. I just am not domestic at all (as if anyone really enjoys cleaning, etc), and my house is a wreck!
Hugs, Mo
Hey Mo,
We must bypass each other all the time. I usually go to the Port Covington Walmart. I live right off 95's Caton Ave exit.
I just returned from my drive to Mt Airey where I met Kristina. She is a sweetheart. Her husband was very nice also- a tad shy but very nice.
Will you send that cleaning lady my way? Not only am I not domectically inclined, I just don't want to do it anymore.
Aime
Hi Aime
We usually go to the Walmart in Glen Burnie (right off I-97) and the Sam's in Annapolis, but today decided to do something 'different'. Some times our let's try a different Walmart excursions take us all the way to Easton (from this side of the bridge), but we haven't done that lately.
Sounds like you had fun today! (and that cleaning lady is going to be EXHAUSTED when she is done here ... if she doesn't run away screaming!!!)
Hugs, Mo
