Good Wednesday Morning!
Hi Tia.
I am glad you enjoyed your holidays, even though it was busy. I know you don't mind spending time with KB. You're such a great Aunt!
We enjoyed the holidays as well. My best friend & her girls visited from New Mexico. It was great having them here. They left this morning so my house will be quite boring and quiet for a few days. We are quickly getting back into our own routine and the girls schedule is filling up fast. They are in fine arts competitions this year and are entering in about 6 events a piece. Stephanie auditions for Grease this afternoon so she will begin rehersals for that along with working parttime. We can't forget school work/homework and other church activities. Whew, I am tired just thinking about it all. We love it though.
I actually worked out 3 times while I was on vacation and I went to the gym yesterday. I am planning on going again today for just cardio (giving my muscles a rest). I am glad to be getting back to "normal" eating, drinking and exercise too.
Well, they guys are keeping me busy today. It's the first day back in the office for them both. So I had better get going.
Have a fab day! Hugs, Robin
I'm with you Robin. I love me some holidays, but am so glad to get back into a normal eating, drinking, exercise schedule too.
Nothing like the calendar turning over to give everyone a reason to use that gym membership. I'll give it til the end of the month before it gets back to "normal" at my gym. As I recall that was about as long as I was able to stick with an exercise program before surgery.
Happy new year y'all. Looking forward to a stunning 2007.

Hey Daniel -
Happy 2007!!!! The great thing about working out at a hospital's fitness center is that there really aren't any gym-wanna-be's there. Usually the same folks, just trying to stay healthy. So I'm looking forward to seeing all the regulars. I'm so fortunate to have discovered the program immediately post-op. They have equipment that, even at my heaviest, could accommodate me. So now I'm loyal to them.
Have a great day!
Tia
Hey Rob -
Happy New Year to you and the fam!!! I'm so glad you had a good one, too!!! There's nothing like girlfriends, is there?
Oh, I love Grease!!! In fact, I think there's going to be a reality show based on finding the new Danny and Sandy. While I'm not into reality shows, not even a little, it should be interesting. I should've splurged and seen Grease when it came to the Hippodrome, but I didn't.
KB make it really easy to be a great aunt - MOST of the time!!! Yesterday, I think all I said was, "Get away from him!! Leave her alone!!!" They just messed with each other all day long!!! I don't like to yell, and even though I have a hair-trigger temper, I usually don't display it with them - they get yelled at enough by others, but SOMETIMES.....
Glad you're keeping up with the exercise - that's something I really need to focus on, especially with my 18 month anniversary coming up on Groundhog Day!!!!
Take care,
Tia
Morning Tia and everyone else- once again it is evening. I was here way too early for anyone else except for maybe Mo this morning. I sure wish I had stilll been in
4:30 and I was wide awake.
I have made it to the gym twice so far this week. I took it easy today since I didn't sleep well last night. Hopefully, I will make tomorrow a 3 days in a row event. I don't mind going very early to exercise. It is just the getting out of bed and getting out the door. Once I'm off and running, I am ok.
I've been back in the office for two days and I already am feeling overwhelmed. My director has me going to so many meetings it is unreal. She is making me the key person from our office to work with ITD on the data conversion stuff for our new student information system. Can you say clueless!!!! I am learning more and more every day and I find that exciting. But this is a completely different direction from my college days when I just wanted to teach deaf/blind kids.
My ex- is form LI. He grew up in Islip and Bohemia. I love Montauk and that area. I can't say I like much of LI closer to the city. My son is supposed to drive up there next weekend to visit his grandparents. Kinda puts me on edge to think of him travelling the Verrezano and the Belt Parkway.
I am so proud of all of you for doing so well.
Aime
Hey Aime -
Better late than never. If I could get myself together in the a.m., I'd work out then, but sometimes, it's a struggle just to get up when the alarm goes off at 5:30. Monday-Friday, anyway. Come Sunday, when I CAN sleep in, I'm up at 6!!!! WTH????
It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're learning something new, but it's good that you find it interesting. Prior to wls, when I suffered (badly) from sleep apnea, if I had to attend a meeting, conference, seminar, etc., I immediately fell asleep if the topic wasn't interesting!!!
I've only ever been to NYC, but LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!! To visit anyway - I'd imagine I could love living there if I could afford it!!!
Hope you have a good rest of the week!!!
Tia
