A little help to all w/ Hair Loss
Hi - I wanted to post a message in hopes of helping those of you who have lost some or a lot of your hair due to the surgery. I was one of who did loose quiet a bit of hair. Not to where I needed a wig, but to were it was very noticible.
thanks to everyone who offered their suggestions. I took everyone of them and made my own receipe. . For those of you who need help, please consider the following:
2 Omega 3-6-9 tablets
2 Biotin tablets
1 Folic Acid tablet
and don't forget that PROTEIN. I haven't been getting enough calories in during the day so to help that, I eat 2 protein bars during the day. ADKINS because those only have approx. 1 gram of sugar. That gives me about 300 calories plus lots of protein.
Anyway.... that is my receipe for helping with hair loss. Mine has stopped falling out and is getting thicker and growing back. I started the above around August 2006 and you can tell a huge difference.
Happy New Year to all and heres to continued health and happiness to all!
Lisa,
Can you tell me the name of these vitamins and where I can purchase them?
To answer your question about shampoos and conditioners, try Queen Helene Natural Garlic shampoo and Nutrinte Garlic conditioner. Both are uncented. The shampoo helps prevent excessive breakage and loss of hair. The garlic extract stimulates troubled hair and relieves dry, itchy scalp. You can purchase them at select Bbeauty supply stores. Call first to make sure they carry it and have some in stock. I recently cut off amy dreadlocs and am starting over. These products were highly reccomended.
Have a Blessed New Year on Purpose!

Hi Cara...The vitamins name was Hair, Skin and Nails. I already threw the box away, but i think it was purplish or pinkish. I got them at Walmart. I also picked up Neutrogina Triple Moisture shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. I can see and feel a difference after just two days of using it. I will keep the Queen Helene products in mind for the future. Thanks and good luck to you.
