Happy January 1, 2007

Happy New Year !!!! Who all made it to midnight? Not me that's for sure. I fell asleep sitting here in my chair watching TV and woke up about 11 and toddled off to bed! I've been up since about 6:15. I got all dressed to go to the gym at 7 and it was pouring rain, and I figured if I didn't HAVE to go out I wasn't going. Now it's bright enough out that I can see the rain drops, and I am still dressed for the gym. I hear the sofa and a cheery fire downstairs calling my name ............. Hugs, Mo

Good morning to you also Mo. I went to sleep purposefully at about 9. I was very tired from a rough emotional day for me. I don't think I want to go anywhere today either. I still don't trust the drunks on the road. Although, July 3 and 4th are the most dangerous days of the year to drive statisically. I did wake up at about 11:50 and saw the ball drop in Times Square. Looked the same as the past years.... Have a wonderfully cozy day!!! Aime

I did not fade out until 2AM. Brought in the New Year watching two crappy movies - Lady in the Water and Step Up! Hopefully today's movie rentals will get a better review. At midnight, hubby shot off the shotgun and some fireworks. The kids massacred my pan****ting them with utensils in their attempt to make New Years noise. Got up at 6AM, drank 2 cups of coffee, have eaten a 2 egg omelet with cheese and am now getting ready to watch the Rose Bowl parade. Love parades, so this will make my day. Have promised myself to visit fitday and visit it every day. Not just visit it, but to actually use it. I need to start keeping track of calories, fats, protein, etc. Wish me luck! Happy New Year Mo We were at my brothers lasnight so we were up at midnight. Usually our New years eve consists of movies and in bed by 11 p.m. But my brother and his girlfriend are in there own place this year and wanted to have a new years dinner. So we had seafood watch You , Me and Dupree (very funny) and a game of scrabble and home by 1:30 am. The first time in 6 years we have gone out for new years. It was nice. Tried to get home before the bars closed. Wasnt to bad but the rain makes people drive crazy but wasnt to many cars on the road. Looks like a movie day. The devil wears Prada and Cars. Happy Happy New Year!!!! I had a great New Year Celebration with a few friends. We ate, drank and shared stories. We cried, we laughed and acted ohhhhh so silly. I am so glad that I was able to share such a special time with such great friends. I am so much looking forward to the GREAT opportunities that 2007 will bring my way. I have no idea right now but I am and always have been an optimist - I know good things will materialize this year. Here is to a New Year and New Beginnings. I hope that all of your wishes and dreams come true this year.

Good afternoon Mo! I spent New Years even with my 5 year old, 2 year old and my 6month old grand daughter. My husband was working so he left work at 11pm and arrive at 11:49pm from Va. He ate some dinner, we watched the ball drop and we drank some champaigne and home made egg nog (that I will never have again! lol) Then we went to bed we watched an episode of *24* and I fell asleep in the middle of it. lol That was it but I wouldn't have it any different! Happy New Year, I stayed up late. My husband and the kids had Sparkling Cider (I didn't want any) and we joined hands in prayer.
