This reply is coming to you on Sunday, but I had to tell you guys about my Saturday. Part of my daughters Christmas presents were two tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I took her. We headed to the Verizon Center in DC at around 12:30 PM for a 3PM showing. Had to park a few blocks away ($20 prepaid - unreal!!!). Walked - that was no problem. Had to find our seats on the 4th floor - no problem. Sat in the tiniest seats - no problem. Surrounded on both sides by people - no problem. I had plenty of shoulder, leg, butt, and thigh room. What a grand feeling! Just made for a better concert experience all around. Last time I went to a concert, I left with bruises on my thighs from the seat being too tight.
The concert itself was amazing!! Totally a Rock'n Christmas!! I had no idea anyone could rock up Christmas songs that much. Right up my alley. Ex 80's rock musicians, complete with the 80's hair, electric guitars, keyboards, DRUMS, lasers and lights show, flames (shooting to the music that is) and hair being thrown and swished all over the place. Such a beautiful memory maker. We've wanted to see them for quite a few years and our wish came true this year. Next year, Sam and Monty have to come with us. I hate that they could not witness this event. Monty can't complain though, because him and Andrew (eldest) go to see Stomp at Warner theatre on 1/6. I know that will be amazing also.
Ok, enough rambling. Just wanted to update you. Have a great Sunday!

What an absolutely marvelous day you had. I went to see CATS a few years back and walking killed me, the seating made me miserable through the whole show (although I loved every minute of the show). My legs absolutely has bruises where the screws of the seat dug into me the whole time. How I can't wait to be able to just plop down in a seat and relax. My day is coming. I've got a long way to go yet and I have to keep reminding myself I'm only not quite 3 months out, I'm so impatient. I'm planning on my knee replacement in the spring so you guys will see me just trotting into our support group meetings. Traci you had one complete day of nothing but WOWS.... Everyone have a wonderful New Years Eve, be safe and I hope to see everyone on Thursday night.
