Good Saturday morning !!! (come out you lurkers)

Hey there It's coming up on 9:30 a.m. and I've been to the gym and now am home enjoying the pot of coffee I had waiting for me when I walked in the door. I did a 30 minute (and 5 minute cool down) interval course on the treadmill, then I tried the 'circuit' on my own (that was a comedy to watch .... there was a man a couple of machines ahead of me who was lifting WAY more than I will ever get to and I would remember to set the seat .. but forget the weight .. OMG .. then I'd have to fix the weight thing .. by the end I was getting both adjusted, but didn't get switched between machines in the 15 seconds so that I was getting the full 45 seconds on each) I only did one round on the circuit, my goal is to do two comfortably, but this was the first time so I will let myself slide on it ... Then I went and did a 30 minute interval course on the bike. I am feeling perky! They are open on Monday (New Year's Day) so I may do another 'Saturday' morning on Monday. My workout nights this week are Tuesday and Wednesday so that I can leave Thursday open to be in Crofton for the meeting Mr Mo is home today and we are going to to MP3 player shopping. I think I've found what I want on Amazon (best price) and now I need to go to a real store to fondle it before I order it from Amazon. It's such a pretty day we will probably stay out and maybe go to Bowie Town Center or some place like that and just walk around. No other special plans for the weekend. We will meet Jeff & Wendy for dinner tonight as usual, but tomorrow night we will both probably be sound asleep by 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve. What's everyone out there doing??? Good Morning Mo Sounds like you are having a busy saturday. Nothing to exciting going on here. Hubby and I woke up this morning and put Christmas decorations back in the attic and did some cleaning up from that. Going threw all my Birthday Party Invitations for January . I think every little child in our family was born in January. So putting those on the new 2007 calender. Then there's laundry and doggy outside play time ect ect ect. . Morning Mo and everyone else (or should I say afternoon now?), I went to Home Depot and picked up some needed house things. The I went to Applebees for lunch. i had the Chicken Tortilla Weigh****cher appetizer. It was delish. I brought most of it home. Afterwards, I went to the Patapsco Flea market. I still need to finish some holiday shopping. I wait til after Christmas to buy for most of my family as we get together early in January for the holidays. It makes it easier on everyone that way. Less stress. Now I am home thinking about a nice nap. I don't have any special plans as yet for NY's Eve, but who knows... Aime

I've got at least an hour that I could nap before we go out to dinner We went out for a while and I 'fondled' mp3 players and decided to order the one I had picked out on Amazon. Now I'm scouring eBay looking for accessories for it, because the things I picked out at Best Buy are more than the player itself I'm going to be having packages come all week ... I still have my Tuxedo cat calendar coming from Amazon, and my sister ordered a pink bluetooth for me from Amazon, and now the mp3 player ... you'd think it's Christmas!!! Hugs, Mo

I had a wonderful nap. In fact, I think I slept too long. I woke at 7 so it was already too late to cook dinner. I also woke to discover that my gentleman friend had decided to help me by running the dishwasher. Of course, he added regular dish detergent. Thank God for the internet. I learned that vegetable oil kills the suds, and it did. Now I just have to run the dishwasher a few times to clear it all out. Aime

OMG Aime!! LOL!!! Bless his heart for trying!! OMG thats too funny.. I thought stuff like that only happened in the movies!! Well my Saturday consisted of work from about 8am-noon, then home for various cat naps on the couch though out the day.. Davie (4yrold son) yelling at me WAKE UP MOMMY and shoving power rangers in my face.. Bad chinese food and Star Wars (Luke... (gasp) I am your father (gasp) sounds like he needs a CPAP machine..) for dinner followed by more naps til at 2 am, I am on the boards.. lol.. I will say one thing I am looking forward to after WLS, is the energy.. I am tired of being tired all the time ya know?! Well good night all.. See ya tomorrow!

Kim, you will be so amazed at your energy level after surgery. You'll be shoving Power Rangers in your sons face at that point. He'll be running to keep up with you. Your time will come. TraciL

Hi Bon Thanks for the suggestion. I never think to look on Overstock.com. I found a 'bundle' package on eBay that has just about everything I want .. but it's not the 'brands' that I wanted ... so I'll try overstock and see if they have them. Hugs, Mo

Mo, it seems that every time I buy something on ebay, electronic related, it sucks!! I won two MP4 players for the kids this Christmas. One worked, the other did not. The CD is not recognizable by my computer, the cord did not fit the player, etc. Just wrote the seller to ask for an exchange, but not sure how he will handle it. Hopefully he'll stick by his product. We did have it for a while, snug and secure, waiting for Christmas. Just never checked it out before hand. My fault, but he had such a high seller rating. It will be interesting to see how he handles it. My poor daughters MP4 players screen broke, two days after she got it. Electronically it was great and everything that the seller said. She just had bad luck in that she dropped her case, along with her new Nintendo DS. I believe the D**** the screen just right, that it was shattered. Unreal! Let us know how your MP3 works out for you. Needless to say, I might have to shop for new ones in the New Year. TraciL
