I had my WLS. Dr Fullum is the best!

Hi Everyone, I had my surgery after a lot of drama on Tuesday, December 19. The Saturday before surgery I could not catch my breath. I got scared and went to the ER. Have tons of test 2 chest rays and they didn't know what was wrong. They called Dr. Fullum on a Saturday to let him know what was going on. He told them how I should be treated and surgery was up in the air. I stressed all weekend. And Monday and Tuesday until 7:00 when Dr Fullum walked in with that cute face and big smile of his and gave me the thumbs up. All went well. You know they usual stuff ..chapped lips, sore throat and the gas pains. The night I came home I woke up to my nightgown and the bed full of bright red blood. Poor Dr Fullum we called him around 12:00. Nice as can be told my hubby what to do. That didn't work. We ended up in the ER for pressure bandages. I would not let the ER call Dr. Fullum. HE called me at 7:30 the next moring happy that all was well but a bit stern with me that if I go to the ER he should have been called. I explained that they did such a great job at the ER I was fine. I is the nicess Doctor I have met. He has the cuties, warmest smile that makes you like him right away. He is very confident but not ****y. You know he knows him stuff but talks to you in a way that you know what he is talking about. I am so luck to have him as my doctor. At Christmas we had about 35 people and he was included in the blessing and dinner. Thanks for reading, Charmayne

I'm glad to hear that you are doing well. Dr Fullium is my dr as well and he is the best!!!! I was one of his 1st pt's to follow him to Balt. He made my family feel at peace and was talking football with my husband when he came to visit me. He is so gentle and really cares for his pt's. I'm a little over 3 months out and I started at 343lbs now I'm 272lbs. it was rough the at first but it gets better everyday.My God bless you on your journey and if you need someone to talk to please email me [email protected] or through this site.
