Merry Christmas!
Hubby and I were up at 5AM wrapping the final two presents. Now the sweet potato rolls are in the oven for the family gathering today. We're waking up the final kid (daughter) at 7AM for the gift opening, and then have to all be ready and leaving by 10:30AM. Just wanted to pop on here to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Stay on track. Socialize, walk, drink, whatever you have to do to keep the head munchies at bay. Best of luck!!

And I thought I was an early bird being up at 5:45 
I'm waiting on Mr Mo to get up. I have one small package from my god daughter to open so I've been saving that since I think that is all I will have to open. If he doesn't get up soon though I may give in to opening it!!!
We had a 'joint' present that was planned ... spending the $$$ to have his truck fixed. That hasn't been even started, so I feel like I was 'cheated' out of a Christmas present 
I spent yesterday looking on line at mp3 players and now I've got an idea but I am not sure I want to order it .... I'll probably wait a few weeks and then just pay for it myself. OR if he doesn't get up soon .. I might just order it NOW and put it on his credit card
No other plans for today. I fixed a prime rib dinner for us last night and have a ham for today. We've been invited to Jeff & Wendy's for later, but Mr Mo doesn't seem to want to go so I guess we will sit here all day 
... I'm starting to whine here ... so UNLIKE me ... (NOT !!!) so I had better chirp up quick!!!!
I've been through a 10 cup pot of decaf already so I'm floating here. Just had my shower and put on sweats to lounge in. Watching Friday's GH on Soapnet .. Think maybe I'll consider baking an Irish Cream cake to take over to J & W's later .. even if Mr Mo's gonna be a scrooge about it.

It's something totally sinful ... both pre AND post op!!! One of those cakes that starts with a yellow cake mix, add the oil and eggs. You supplement the water in the batter with Irish Cream liquer. Bake in a tube or bundt pan. After it cools you glaze it with a butter, sugar and more Irish Cream mixture. It's extremely rich and decadent.
I ended up not baking one yesterday. I was in a funk about Christmas. I really didn't feel all that well and while dinner was in the oven I napped/watched videos .. saw Ice Age the Meltdown and Over the Hedge .. it was just a 'blah' day for me. I ordered my Tuxedo cat calendar from Amazon. Mr Mo is always supposed to get that for me no matter WHAT .. and he wasn't even creative enough to think to look for it on line. I'm not really sure how hard he even looked for it in a store . which REALLY is what p'd me off.
Uh oh .. there I go whining again!!!
