How is everyone? I hope everyone had a nice Christmas Mine was good. How goes the eating, fluids, supplements and protein? Eating wise, I definitely ate some things that weren't on my program. But, not in huge quantities, so I'm not going to beat myself up over it. As for fluids, supplements and protein, I'm right on track. I had originally planned to work today but I overslept and called in. I think I'm going to get some things done around the house and play with my IPOD. Then I think I might take care of the thing I left off of the list above - EXERCISE! I think I still remember how to get to the gym Whatever you're doing today be it work or play, have a great day! Take Care, Terry

Good morning Terry It's time for me to stop whining about my Christmas (or lack there of ... ). Mr Mo is gone for a few days ... he'll be staying out in Frostburg and working west of F/B for the next 3 days. Maybe by the time he gets back on Thursday evening I'll be 'over' it. Have my nail appointment after work, then I might change and go to the gym since it will only be me and Lefty at home anyway. I've made my appointment to work with the PT tomorrow at 6 on the weight/strength equipment so I should be starting on mixing up my work outs and doing some circuit work to go with the cardio stuff. My pouch is being finicky AGAIN. I've spent a fair amount of time being sick the last few days. Just a wake up call that I am not a 'normal' person I guess. I ate something inappropriate this a.m. when I got to work .. and WOWZERS .. the lightheadedness and hot flashe**** me big time ... maybe after all this time I'm finally starting to dump like a real WLS-er??? I hate the 'go on a diet' mentality ... but I'm going to try really hard to stick with it and maybe if I am REALLY diligent I can shed some of this excess before I see Dr Mike on March 23 for my 3 year followup!!! I think the exercise part is really a key to that. 2 to 3 nights/week and my Saturday a.m. workout ... any more than that is a bonus but that is the baseline. Well, I AM here in the office, so I had better get busy ... even tho with the 'sugar' rush I am experiencing a nap would be more my style. Hugs, Mo

I just left the Frostburg area. My mother was a professor at the university and is now retired. She lives about 15 mins north of town is a small town called Mt. Savage. Small world. Glad I am home. It is so cold up there. Aime

Good Afternoon guys! Christmas went great! I can't even complain about the lack of gifts, because time with family made up for it. Ate things that should never have even been a thought! Very depressing, but pre-op would have been much worse. Back on track today. Tons of fluids, protein, protein, protein, and moving to lose. My parents spent the night last night, and headed back to WVA this AM. They took my youngest with them. Can't believe that he even asked to go. Seeing their faces light up really made his request to join them all that more special. He packed up tons of paraphenalia to keep himself occupied. IPOD, game cube, game boy, book to read and air soft pistol for target practice. Warned him not to shoot Grammie and Pop! Well, next comes New Year! I love the fact that dieting is no longer a resolution, and that eating to be healthy is. Later!! TraciL

Hey Terry! Glad to hear you had a good Christmas Ours was very nice. Kylie has really gotten into the gift thing and she loves "Ho Ho" (Santa). We had dinner at my aunts on Christmas Eve with the extended family and on Christmas Day we went to my Mom's for dinner with just them, us, and my father in law. I did great food wise. Unfortunately I ate a little past my band limit and was miserable for a while. I did better on Christmas Day, but ended up miserable because I ate part of a soft roll. I do fine with toast, but now I know NO REGULAR BREAD! Do you like your iPod? Floyd got me one for my birthday. It's a HOT PINK Nano I'm lovin it! For Christmas he got me a Sirius radio for my Santa Fe since he knows I love the one we have in our truck. He got me some stocking stuffers and then we each get a wad of cash to spend however we like.

Heya Guys I've got the funniest story for ya.. I have a 4 year old little boy..David.. Love of my life.. He's the with the slyest smile you have ever seen.. anyway.. its 830 in the morning.. I wake up first.. yes.. I woke up first.. I had to SHAKE, TICKLE and SHOVE my 4 year old awake.. He streches, yawns then finally opens his eyes.. I said Davie go see if Santa came.. so he totters off to the living room and starts yelling.. MOMMMMM SHANTA (he has a lisp, lol) came!! and runs back into the room.. I said ok lets go see what he brought you.. he looks at me, rubs his eyes and says but I'm still sleepy.. and proceeds to try to climb back INTO bed.. then he says Shanta can come back later.. I look at my hubby, he looks at me and we just die laughing.. Davie ended up back in the living room, but I swear I will never forget this christmas..

Kim, your boy sounds darling and I'm sure his reaction is a holiday memory that will live on. Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I spent from birth to 17 years old in Hyattsville MD. Ingraham street, right by WSSC and Magruder Park. How's the area now? As a young family do you like living there? Take care and email me when you can. TraciL
