Happy Hump Day Everybody!
How is everyone? What's going on in your corner of the world? I'm doing okay...just need to get my butt in gear and wrap those Christmas presents!
I wish I could say that I did okay eating, but I totally blew it yesterday. I exhibited behavior that was like what I did prior to WLS (although not near in the same quantity). Last evening after eating cookies throughout the day and then topping my evening off with a piece of my ice cream birthday cake - I proceeded to throw up 3 times. Even though it was not a pleasant experience, I'm glad it happened. As I told McMom, episodes like this will keep me in check because I don't want to experience that ever again, so I'll modify my behavior next time. Other than that, I'm good on everything else except for exercising. I will get back to the gym soon!
Well, I'm through confessing, I've gotta get to work.
Have a Wonderful Day!
Take Care,
Terry
Good morning Terry
Just have a quick minute here to say hi and post. The day's meetings and such start at 8:30 ... arghhhh!!!! I love being busy, but after being out of the office yesterday, I would like to just be able to concentrate on what is going on here on my desk for a day!!
I continue to eat 'junk' though like you not nearly in the quantities that I would have pre-WLS. And I also get sick ... SOME times, but not all . I've had a few days recently of being sick on eating 'regular' food. So I'm back on the I'll eat whatever will stay down, which is not a good way to look at it.
Skipped the gym yesterday and finished making my Christmas fudge for gifts last night. Tonight I have to cut it and package it. Mr Mo is going out with the guys for their Christmas drink/party after work and I've got my bag for the gym in the truck so I'll stop on the way home. Tomorrow night I have a hair appointment so I'll probably skip the gym again . But there's Saturday morning .. and maybe even Sunday a.m.
Ok, time to get coffee made so I can head off to the 8:30
Take care.
Hugs, Mo
Good Morning Good Morning!!!
Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I took off yesterday and spent it with my best friend, her brother and her sister. We had a blast! Her bro just came home from living in Florida for the last three years so it was good to see him. We used to date and it's nice he and I can be friends now. My best friend is so happy to have her brother home....it made her Christmas!
Thankfully I have stayed away from the 'bad' food. I think because I am still a newbie with only being 2 1/2 months out it makes it easier this Christmas season. As of yesterday I am down 56 pounds!!! WOOHOO!!! That made my day! I do need to get back on the exercise. I can feel it in my legs. They aren't as strong as they were and that's a bad sign. I need to make the resolve that I will go out walking in the evening after work. No more excuses!
Still need to finish my Christmas shopping. UGH I'll be one of those people on Christmas Eve finishing up! I can see it now! Work is very very slow. I have very little to do today even with being off yesterday. The Auto Business is like this every year at this time but I never seem to get used to it. Thankfully January is always busy with end-of-year so I'm not bored out of my skull by then! Well, gotta run and make myself look alittle busy!!!! Everyone have a happy happy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon!
I really do not want to be at work today. I am ready for my Christmas vacation to start. I guess that I will keep pushing to get some work done each day that I have to be here. I am off on Christmas, working the day after and then off until Jan. 2. I need it!
My BF is supposed to be coming here from New Mexico for Christmas & New Years. There is a bad snow storm so I don't know if she will make it for Christmas. I'll be totally bummed if she can't come. She really needs a break from things herself so I hope it all works out.
I've been allowing myself to eat more junk lately too. I had some stuff at the office party yesterday that really didn't settle in my tummy. I was miserable for about an hour. My biggest hope is that I don't gain any weight in the next two weeks. If I can keep from doing that, I'll be quite happy.
Well, have a wonderful day everyone. I am off to the copy machine.
Hugs, Robin

Every where I turn there is something that seems to be calling my name. Think I am going to have to get a name change. My goal has been to get trought the holidays with a weight maintenance -- of course it would have helped if I had weighed before Thanksgiving.
I am trying to keep the balance by making sure I put in time at the gym. Calories in -- Calories out --- trying to keep the equation balanced. Not working.
Like others I have endulged a bit here and a bit there. Nothing drastic and nothing like I would have pre-surgery.
The holidays - between Thanksgiving and Christmas have been the most challenging this year. I guess it is because I am more "normal" in my behaviors. But that is what I wanted to be "normal". Normal people enjoy the goodies --- but not in excess. Can we do the same as post-op people -- that is those of us who are down the road a few years ---
I just want to be normal --- and not obsessive

This week has been a killer. Between trying to get ready for Christmas and work- I'm ready to crawl in a hole somewhere. I just hope that hole has a place where I can get some exercise.
I heard today that the Y has waived the sign up fee for Baltimore City employees. I think I am going to check into that as an option for me. Catonsville has a Y which is very close to me.
Have a great day everyone.
