Christmas Commercials

I've seen the cutest commercial several times in the past week or two, and it made me wonder which is your favorite. Do tell! I LOVE the Cingular commercial where they do a spoof of "A Christmas Story." "You'll run your bill up!!!" OMG! They even do the pink bunny suit!!!!!! But my new fave is the USPS commercial, where the plastic reindeer is talking to the present on the porch: Reindeer: "What are you?" Package: "A package." Reindeer: "What are you doing on the porch?" Package: "Well, if you must know, Mrs. Johnson is extremely busy, and she left me out here." Reindeer: "Wait, that's not the Post Office." Package: "Au contraire, my plastic friend......" Reindeer: "That's fine. Go. (Sniff) My place is here - with the snow people." I LOVE THIS!!!!! Cracks me up every time!!!!! My other fave, but oldie, is when the little boy and his grandfather plant a piece of fruitcake in NYC, and some time later, they return, to find that the Rockefeller Center tree has sprouted!!! Wow! Too much time on my hands this afternoon!! Come out and play, please!!! Tia

Well, I don't do too much tv either - usually at night right before I go to bed, and then the news in the a.m., while I'm spackling my face!!!! Tia

Hey Kelly - Yep, although my crazy brother and I constantly throw quotes from movies at each other, my new favorite saying is, "Fine. Go. (Sniff) My place is here - with the snow people!!!" I'm trying to think of ways to work it into my work day today - you know, liven things up a bit!!!! Tia

Actually, it doesn't have much to do with our USPS connection; I think it just appeals to my sense of "stupid." And I LOVE the reindeer's voice! Tia

I know .. that voice is SO familiar .. but I can't place it!!! I am thinking Eddie Murphy .. because it reminds me of Donkey in Shrek .. but I am not sure.

Yep, that's who I was thinking, too! You know, I just read an article where some customers were offended because the reindeer was "brown" and down lower than the package, which was "white" and up on the porch. GIVE ME A BREAK! ENOUGH ALREADY! Lighten up, people, it's just a commercial! Sheesh!!!
