Bariatric Physicians - anyone been to these doctors?

I am glad that you are doing your homework before selecting a surgeon. My friend used to see Dr S. Milner and I don't think she would recommend him for the surgery. He is good doctor, but his surgical experience isn't known. The doctors at GBMC and my doctor, Dr Michael Schweitzer at Hopkins have the best reputation around. Good Luck to you.

I, too, had Dr. von Ruedin. Although, I saw my regular doc prior to see ing DVR, I wasn't required to see him. He actually suggested I consider the surgery. Most surgeons seem to require the information seminar prior to that first appointment. There is no cost to attend the seminars. Usually, a support group for the patients coincides with the information seminar. Check it out. I don't think you will be dissappointed. Aime
