Who's lurkin' ????
Good Sunday morning
Who's out there lurking ??? Come on gang step up and be counted!!!!
Yesterday was a 'busy' day ... I was at Big Vanilla by 7:15 and did 20 minutes on the treadmill and another 20 minutes on the stationary bike. ..
My main focus for yesterday was to be on the Ticketmaster site at 10 a.m. to get tickets for Bob Seger on Feb 1 in DC. That's my birthday AND .. Bob Seger has to be my all time most favorite artist .. soooooo ... I'm a happy camper .. I was successful with the ticket thing
Then we were off to run errands and enjoy the day!
Today I have to do some baking and get busy making fudge. I give fudge to my staff and we have our dinner on Thursday night. And I need to bake a cake to take to the office party on Tuesday.
If I get busy with my fudge making I may go to Big Vanilla later this afternoon for a 'break' !
Have a super Sunday!
Hugs, Mo

My youngest son's birthday is also Feb. 1. This will be his 21st birthday this year. Congrats on your tickets. I wanted to see Eric Clapton on mine in DC. I was hoping my brother would be able to give me some comp tickets. His wife produces many shows.. she could work the Seger concert, in fact. Anyway Clapton doesn't give out comp tickets. My sil was able to get me a roadie t-shirt and a song list from the stage.
I had planned to put a dent into my Christmas shopping yesterday. I managed to buy 2 gifts. My son needed my car to go get a Christmas tree. He dedcided he wanted to get a real one. He cxame home with two. Now, I live in a rowhouse. I don't know what I am to do with the extra tree. I started to decorate. Unfortunately, it got dark and I was unable to continue working on the outside. Since it will be warm today, I plan to fini**** Maybe I will be able to get out and shop some.
I also went with my friend to Fell's Point last night. We had to park several blocks away so I got a good walk in yesterday. We found this nice little Irish Pub. Sadly, I ordered a seafood gumbo. I asked for a cup and got a bowl. It was also so spicy I was afraid to eat it. The waitress took it off our chec****ep telling my friend that I will forever after wls be a cheap date.
I hope everyone has a peaceful day.

Hey Aime!
OH to be 21 ... well .. maybe 35 again .. This is number 57 coming up for me.
We saw Clapton at the Cap Center when he did his Nothing But the Blues tour. I don't know what I was thinking .. it was good .. but I was disappointed that he didn't do any 'classic' Clapton .. When I said that to Mr Mo .. he was like .. "Well, it WAS nothing but the blues"
You haven't gotten to the 'spicy' part yet. I still love spicy stuff (more than before my surgery even) but I went through a spell there for a while that the spicier the better or I couldn't taste it ... I had steak fajitas last night and got one wedge in .. and about half of a second wedge ... so I'll be eating steak fajitas for a while ... lol .. I've got a pot roast to get in the oven in a while too ...
So far I've gotten 4 batches (8 pounds) of fudge made. I bought Pirates of the Carribean Curse of the Black Pearl yesterday (what can I say .. we are WAY behind in movies .. lol) so we are taking a 'movie' break and watching it. I had watched it on commercial tv but not really uninterupted, so we are REALLY enjoying this. When the movie is done, I'll be back to the fudge making. I think the first 4 batches will be ready to cut.

I'm a tad late responding, but here goes. Saturday I baked and baked and baked. I am so baked out at this point, that I swear I'll do not more. Remind me of this statement when once again I'm baking next weekend. I had 3 of my middle schoolers over to help with the baking. They also bought along two recipes each, so we had quite the variety. I had two apple cakes done before they walked in the door, and my banana nut bread was almost completed in the oven. Next we made chocolate chip/walnut cookies. Then onto triple layer peanut butter/chocolate cookie bars. While these were cooking, we made fudge. Next came double blueberry muffins. After these, we took a Pizza Hut break. Banana split cookie bars, shortbread cookies and caramel kissed chocolate cookies were the finales. Unreal!!! I kept slipping on my kitchen floor due to all the flour that had fallen. When said and done, we each had two huge goody platters. The variety was wonderful and I plan to use mine for many a gift.
Sunday, went with my sis and some of her friends to a Christmas house tour in Northern VA. Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for all I have, but these homes made me downright depressed (but happy for the homeowners!) Beautiful!! We were allowed to ramble around in 7 homes that were decorated to a "T" for holidays. Wish I could have taken pics. Plenty of exercise due to the amount of stairs and floors that the houses had. Kept thinking to myself that approximately 1.5 years ago, I would not have even attempted this! After the walk, we went to a Mexican Restaurant in Leesburg. Nice ending to a nice day.
Everyone have a great week.

Hi Traci
Better you than me with the cookie baking! I am just not really a baker. I thought about doing some chocolate chip truffle cookies yesterday but never got to them. I did make 8 two pound batches of fudge and get my cake baked though. I think I am set for fudge for the staff gifts, and I still have fixings to make another 4 batches if need be.
I've never done one of those house tours. I see them and think "oh, that would be fun" but never follow through.
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs, Mo
