Another Restaurant to Boycott!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to The Old Country Buffet off of Perring Pkwy this evening with my mom, I gave them my restaurant card and the manager said he would not honor it, and I would have to pay full price to eat a half cup of food. Well we left and went to another restaurant and enjoyed our meal.

Hi Lisa, I have heard that about Old County Buffet before. Fortunately, I never much cared for OCB before surgery, so it hasn't been an issue for me. Even now at almost 3 years out, a buffet type place is not really for me. Occasionally, I have no other choice but generally I order my meal from the appetizer menu. Lisa - I'm with Mo - ICK!!!! I've also heard that they don't accept our restaurant cards, but since I'm liking buffets less and less, I don't really care. Actually, one school of thought is that they didn't charge us more when we were able to eat a whole lot more, so why should we expect them to charge us less now? For me personally, it's now more about quality than quantity. I'd rather have something really good than lots of something that's not as good. Just MPO!!!! The only time I've ever asked to get a discount was at the Bonfire in OC - their buffet is $26.99, and I knew I couldn't even eat half of that, and they were accommodating, only charging me $12.50. Other than that, I don't even bother. Glad you ended up enjoying your meal some other place!!! Tia
