I am so thankful!!!!

I have never posted here before but I do visit from time to time. I want to shout from the highest mountian that I am having wls on December 19, 2006. I am so happy. I have had a long road to get to this point with lots of ups and downs. Boy it has all been worth it. Today I am so thankful that I will be having the surgery before the end of the year. I am more thankful that I will be having my surgery by Dr Fullum. He has to be the nicest most down to earth doctor I have ever met. And if I do say he is super hot. I was worried that he may be leaving the group that I am with before my surgery. Any way thanks for reading this I am just full of joy and thankfulness this holiday.

Hello Charmayne- Welcome to the MD boards. Congratulations on your surgery date. It is a long road just to get to that point and we all have been down that road but after that it is smooth sailing. Just remember everything your doctor and nutritionist's tell you and you will do great. I am also thankful to have had the surgery this year. It was this time 2 years ago I first decided to research this surgery and I just had mine almost 5 months ago. Insurance was half the battle. Then a miracle occured and we switched ins and they approved it within less than a month. Keep us posted. We are a great bunch on here. Very supportive and encouraging. Especially when ou don't really know anyone personally that has had the surgery. Have a great Thanksgiving and we will be saving you a seat on the losers bench
