Happy Tuesday!
Hi Robin
Where are you going in CT ? I completely agree with you on the traffic situation. Driving on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving has got to be one of the very worst days. I remember 18 or 19 years ago my parents making that trip in reverse from Norwalk CT to our house here in MD the day before turkey day and it took them 10 hours to make what should have been a 5 hour trip. We drove to Norwalk last year on Thanksgiving day and it wasn't bad at all. I agree on the DVD player .. I've got one now, so I just sit and watch my movies and have no idea what is going on outside. Of course that ONLY works when I'm not driving.
Now that I've added to the whining, have a wonderful trip.
Hugs, Mo
We are headed to Monroe, CT. That's where the Brother-in-law lives. My in-laws live in Stonington, right by Mystic. Thanks, it will be a good trip. Hmmm, let me see I will need oh 3 or 4 movies to survive! LOL. Just kidding. It won't be that bad. Besides I might sleep most of the way since it'll be dark out.
Robin
I know Monroe reasonably well. Mr Mo and I both grew up in CT and we met through a sports car club. We were both 'rallyists' so at one time I knew were every dirt road in CT was! My parents are still in Norwalk, my sister lives in Fairfield and he has a sister in Redding, a brother in Wilton and another brother in Stratford.
I just got season 7 of West Wing from Amazon.com so I know what I will be watching on the road!

Thanks Kelly I had a wonderful time meeting everyone too.
I was just talking to one of my racing chat buddies who is going to meet us at LMS on Friday. He lives down there and said the weather is supposed to be 60 and sunny!!! It will be cool in the morning but it will be nice later on.
I still need to make our hotel reservations, but I will leave that til the last minute ... I'll be sure to do it before we leave on Thursday morning.
Have a wonderful Turkey day yourself.
Hugs, Mo
