Hi Everybody I am five days on the loosing side. I had the lap RNY everthing went great so said my surgeon. Hospital stay was fine walked the first night and had very little pain mainly discomfort from gas. Went home the next evening car trip was a nightmare felt every bump, the first night at home had alot of pain I took tylenol 3 an slept in the recliner. tolerating everthing ok but started having trouble getting enough down (water, protein,ect.) at the weekend. All is well and I am excited about my making my tool work.

Congrats!! Glad to hear that your surgery and recovery has been uneventful to this point. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. You sound as if you have a positive attitude, and I think that's half the battle. It will help you tremendously in your journey. Keep us updated and do as the Doc says! TraciL

Welcome home Sounds like your on the right track. As far as getting down the water. Warm stuff like broth and tea was easier for me to get down those first few weeks. My dietician told me tha****er tended to be heavier than sugar free drinks like Crystal Light. Take Care Nadine O.

Lameaka, Congratulations! Sounds like you're doing well. Just do what you can as far as the protein and fluids. It's kind of hard the first few weeks to get it all in. It'll get easier as time goes on. Take Care, Terry
