December Get-Together

I like the idea of Toby's. I love It's a Wonderful Life. I miss it on tv all the time now. It just doesn't seem like the Christmas season until I have seen that movie. Christmasin the Woods is nice. It is located in an area near Pikesville called Stevenson... not that close to Randallstown. You have to get there early because the lines to get in wrap around the house. They only allow a certain number of people in the building at a time. That can be very frustrating.

I'm open to anything, but I thought that December was going to be geared toward something closer to Mo and the southern MD peeps? Just looking out for my Mo Mo!

Actually, Mo's choosing January (I think!) We had talked about tea at Reynolds Tea Room or something in historic Annapolis, depending upon the weather, of course. Whatever is fine with me - I'm easy, but certainly not CHEAP!!! Tia

Here's the Just Left of Broadway Dinner Theatre website - http://www.justleftofbroadway.com/ They're showing "For the Love of Christmas" 11/25 to 12/22. Sunday Matinee is at 3PM and costs $30. Here's the Timonium Dinner Theatre website - http://www.timoniumdinnertheatre.com/ They're showing "It's a Wonderful Life" 11/3 to 1/21/2007. They have a Sunday matinee @ 3pm, but the doors open at 1PM. They also have a Sunday evening show at 6PM with doors opening at 4PM. Not sure about the price. If we have 15 or more attending, we can get the group rate of $29.75. The single rate is $43.00. They also offer a printable coupon on their website for Friday, Saturday's and Sunday's only, where you can buy one ticket and get one free. That sounds like a good plan to me. Some of us can connect and split the cost of one ticket. Spoke with a girl named Cathy. Hope I got this info right. More tidbits to think about. We should make a decision quick since everyone's calendars are filling up. I know Robin mentioned that she has a nice chunk already spoken for. TraciL

Okay, I'm game. How about 12/17? Either show is fine for me, but for those who have to drive a distance, maybe the matinee would be better. The coupon deal sounds good, too! Actually, count my Mom in, too. Hurry, hurry, hurry, let's do this!!!! Thanks, Traci!!! Tia

WOOHOO!!! Sounds like a plan! I'm in. If it's OK I might ask my mom if she wants to come as well. So, that's It's a wonderful life at the Timonium Dinner Theatre on the 17th of December, right?
