December Get-Together

Okay, it's time to pass the torch as social director. It's someone else's turn to put together the December gathering of THE LOSERS. I can't do 12/2-3 or 12/10, but other than that, I'm open, including some evenings. Should we try to find a show? Terry & I were looking into Sight & Sound, but unfortunately most of the shows seem to be sold out, but someone's welcome to look into that. Should we pick a mall and do lunch/shopping? Like we haven't done LOTS of that? Should we just pick a nice restaurant and have lunch or dinner? Brunch? Tea somewhere? Bueller....Bueller....? Tia BTW, WLIF, 101.9 IS PLAYING CONTINUOUS CHRISTMAS MUSIC ALREADY!!!! YEE-HA!!

Hi Tia, Here's an idea. How about Toby's dinner theatre in Baltimore for a viewing of "It's A Wonderful Life"??? Here's the website for info - http://www.tobysdinnertheatre.com/tobysbaltimore_010.htm This would be very festive and great for improving the holiday mood. If the paste doesn't work, google Toby's in Baltimore. "It's a Wonderful Life" is playing November thru January. Have always wanted to see it, but not by myself. I'll just keep an eye on the board to see if anyone else is interested. TraciL

Hey Tia, Have you ever heard of Christmas in the Woods? I believe it's in the Randallstown area, would have to double-check with my Mom. She and I went a few years ago and it's a house they converted to sell all different kinds of crafts, etc. They do a Springtime in the Woods also. I don't know if that would be something....maybe meet there and find someplace for lunch afterwards. But in thinking about Christmas shopping....it's going to be a mad-house pretty much everywhere. Just a suggestion I'm throwing out there but I'm easy(in a totally G-rated kind of way!) and up for anything. So maybe lunch or dinner somewhere would be a better way to go. ~Heather Christmas music ALREADY??????? Oh my! Are they sick??? I love Christmas but can we get through Thanksgiving first??

Hey Tracy! I like your idea too! LOL Thanks for the link..I'll have to give it a look-see later as well. I'm doing pretty good. Love, love, love being a loser!!!!! I'm feeling pretty much back to myself which is WONDERFUL!!! I am finding I have alot more energy and have a more upbeat way about me. It's nice. Are you coming to Chili's on Sunday? We're both coming to Chili's. I'll be driving, Sue's in a cast right now for a ongoing problem with her foot. Mobile, but slow!! Can't wait to see you and the progress to this point. Is Margie coming? TraciL

aww that's so cool! Can't wait to see you guys! Yep, Margie is gonna be there with bells on probally! LOL She has her 1 month appt. with the surgeon tomorrow. I can't wait to hear what the doc says. Great ideas!!! Someone decide and let us know. There's also Timonium Dinner Theatre and Just Left of Broadway Dinner Theatre, also doing Christmas shows. In addition, I know some of the colleges are doing productions of The Nutcracker. If you've never seen this performed, it's spectacular! Tia

I am game for any of the Christmas shows. That sounds like so much fun. December is filling up fast so hopefully we can get a date soon. I am not avail on 12/2 or 12/9 or 12/7-12/14. I'll keep watching for more info. Hugs, Robin
