Is mineral water treated the same as carbonated water

I went shopping today and purchased Wegman's Mineral Water. Upon opening it there was a fizz sound and bubbles. It is very similar to Perrier and I truly did enjoy the taste. My question is, should I stay away from this as I would carbonated water? I am three weeks out of surgery. Thanks, Adrienne

That's a really good question. When I was in Chicago one of the afternoon breaks they had Perrier not regular bottled water. Even as far out as I am I had to be careful drinking it. Fizzy stuff STILL bothers me if it's too bubbly. My suggestion would be to drink it over ice and let some of the bubbles 'flatten' out. Hugs, Mo

I don't know. Perhaps if you get a chance tomorrow, you might want to call your surgeon or nutritionist. In the meantime, I would take Mo's suggestion. Take Care, Terry
